Back in the cell area, Ellen, Alex, and Diane were talking amongst themselves as Janet took to pacing around the cell that she was locked in.

"Wonder what's takin' them..." Diane said as she glanced around the room.

"It's not exactly a straight shot to the lobby..." Ellen began to explain.

Alex shot his girlfriend a skeptical look. "What exactly do you mean by that?"

"Well..." Ellen began before clasping her hands together. "When Guido activated the Deva System... It screwed up the interiors of most of the buildings. That's what it's like out there. A maze."

Diane shot her a look. "Ya mean that most of these places are giant mazes??? Wonderful..."

"I don't believe a word of it, or that Persona crap that you and Frank keep throwing around!" Janet yelled from inside of her cell.

"Oh yeah? Then how do you explain where you are? Or why you're here?" Alex said hotly.

"You three locked me in here! As for that dream, it was fake! I don't believe it!" Janet said before smirking at Alex.

Alex was about to say something before he felt a gentle hand on his arm. He looked over, and saw Ellen looking at him.

"Alex... calm down. She's just trying to upset you."

Alex looked into Ellen's eyes, and finally calmed down. Diane turned back to the door.

"They'll be back soon... I hope..." She said quietly.

Meanwhile with Frank's party...

Frank was leading Kate and Tellka back to the cell area when he stopped abruptly.

Tellka promptly ran into him.

"OOF!!! Frank... you'd better have a good reason for stopping..." She growled out.

Frank made a shushing motion, then pointed up toward the fluorescent lighting.

Kate stared in wonder. "Those lights... Shouldn't be moving, should they?" She said with a hint of fear in her voice.

Frank was about to say something, when they heard a pounding coming from the ceiling.

"Not good! RUN!!!" He said quickly. As soon as he finished, Kate and Tellka were past him.

After Frank took a couple of steps, the ceiling above exploded into a shower of fragments. He dove, and rolled into a crouch beside Kate and Tellka, who both stopped to see what had happened.

After the cloud of dust had cleared, there was a giant demon standing there, staring at the three with cold, cruel eyes.

"I am the Oni... I have been instructed to kill the Persona users and their friends..." It said in a cold and monotone voice. "And I shall start with you three..."

Frank was examining the demon. The thing was about nine feet tall, blood red, massive hands, and cloven feet. It also had the horns of a ram atop its head.

"My God... one I've never seen before..." Frank said quietly. Before he could say anything, Tellka jumped into battle.

"Kill this!" Tellka said as she leapt at the demon. Much to her surprise, her staff didn't even make the demon flinch.

"What the..." Tellka stammered out as she rolled out of the way of one massive fist.

Frank drew his rapier. "I don't think so!" He yelled as he charged the demon. He swung at the Oni, and got the same result. The blow just glanced off the demon, and it turned to glare at Frank.

Kate looked on in shock, before glancing at her claws. She knew that it wouldn't help, considering that Tellka or Frank couldn't hurt it. Kate's feelings went from shocked to scared when she saw Frank fly past her and into the wall.

"FRANK!!!" She screamed as she ran to his side. A quick glance told her that Tellka was doing all she could to dodge the demon's attacks.

"Ugh... Did anyone get the number of that truck???" He said as he slowly got to his feet.

Kate looked at him in worry. "Please Frank! We've got to go! Even Tellka can't stop it!"

Frank looked at Kate, then to the demon. He then narrowed his eyes, and revealed an emotion of his that he usually kept in check: anger.

"Now I'm mad..." Frank growled out as he raised his hand and lowered his rapier. "YOU'RE TOAST!!!" He screamed. Tellka took that as a warning to get out of the way.

Wind and magical energies kicked up around Frank, as wind began to blow through his uniform. Suddenly, a blue circle appeared under Frank, and he was enveloped in a column of soft, blue light. A beam of white light shot out of him, and enveloped into Justice:Chuan.

"HAIL!!!" Katt screamed out. After saying this, a major hail storm blasted the demon, hurting it a little. Katt then faded back into Frank, and he lowered his rapier.

"Damn! Won't anything hurt him???" Frank said as he looked at the demon, which was now laughing at them.

Tellka said nothing. She was angry at herself for not being able to hurt the demon or being able to protect Kate.

Kate looked at Frank. "Use your gun! That's the only thing you haven't tried!"

Without a word, Frank ripped his shotgun from his back after dropping his rapier.

"TRY IT!" Frank yelled in his usual fashion as he pulled the trigger. To his surprise, the demon roared in pain.

"Finally... something that works..." He then unloaded the rest of his ammo on the demon, which sent it to the floor, gasping.

Dropping the shotgun, Frank pulled the handgun from his hip that he had picked up earlier, and unloaded a full clip into the Oni, making it fall to the ground.

After killing the demon, Frank turned and saw Kate shaking in fear and Tellka looking at him in surprise.

Frank shook his head. "Oh my... what... I didn't mean..."

Kate walked up to him. "It's okay... the important thing is that we're fine..."

"I shouldn't have blown up like that..." Frank said as he scolded himself mentally.

Tellka smirked. "So sad... and you have great potential to become a warrior..." In truth, she was surprised that Frank had blown up like that.

Frank glared at her as he retrieved his gear. As he was reloading his shotgun, he noticed that Tellka was scolding herself for not being able to do anything in that battle.

"Let's get back... I'm worried about the others now..." Frank started down the hallway with Kate in tow. Tellka was slow to follow, since her pride was just severely wounded. What the three failed to notice was the demon slowly getting up and glaring at them with much hatred.
