Life at Windian High (Part 2)

It is now Thursday morning in Windia. Frank Maynard was getting ready for school. He was a little tired, but awake at the same time.

"Dude!!! C'mon!" Brad yelled as he stood in the doorway of the Reverse Edge.

"I'll be there in a minute. Brad, can you and Yuki wait outside? I've gotta do something really quick." Frank said as he came downstairs with Neko-Chan.

"Frank you're already running la-" Brad was interrupted by Yuki, who was just standing beside him, rolling her eyes.

"Kami-sama, Brad... he's got plenty of time... don't try that trick on him..." Yuki rolled her eyes before uncrossing her arms. "We'll wait outside for you, Frank."

Brad was about to say something else, when Yuki just grabbed the Persona User and dragged him out. Frank just chuckled, before turning to Neko-Chan.

"Hey... thanks for helping me last night... without you guys, I wouldn't have gotten that done." Frank said as he tied one of his shoes.

"Myah... it's the least I could do, purr... I mean..." Neko-Chan would have said more, but she yawned, revealing her fangs.

"Just go get some sleep... Katt's still upstairs, probably still sleeping. Neko-Chan..." Frank asked the demoness as he turned to look at her.

"Myah?"

"I was wondering... Did you want to go to school with me tomorrow? I know that it get's awfully lone- ACK!"

Frank never got a chance to finish his sentence. Immediately, the catgirl had him pinned to the staircase.

"MYAH!!! I'd love to, Frank! Purr... THANK YOU!!!" Neko-Chan said as both her tails began to lash about happily. She looked down at the Persona User and let out a low, throaty purr.

"Um... Neko-Chan... I know you're happy and all... but... I've got to get to school... Off please?" Frank said quietly.

"Meow?" The Nekomata said in confusion. After noticing that she had Frank pinned, she immediately leapt up to free him. "Myah... I'm sorry Frank... I just got so excited..."

"That's okay..." Frank said as he slowly got up. "Hey... I'll see you after school, all right?" The Persona User grabbed his backpack and shouldered it.

"Meow... okay! I'll see you later, Frank!" Neko-Chan began to wave as she watched Frank leave the store. As she watched Frank walk off, the catgirl let out a small sigh. She was still sad that Frank had to go, but in a way, she knew that it would be better soon. Neko-Chan let out another yawn and stretched, before heading back upstairs to her room.

"Hi Neko-Chan..." Katt said as the nekomata entered the room. Currently, the woren was doing some light stretching exercises. She stopped for a moment and looked at the catgirl. "Ladon... Neko-Chan... you look tired... Why don't you go back to sleep?"

"Meow... I think I'll do that..." The catgirl replied as both her tails waved about lightly. "Myah! What about you, Katt?"

Katt twirled her staff lightly before leaning it in the corner of the room. "Well... I'm going to help Jess out downstairs. I haven't really done anything like this in ages!" The woren's tail flicked happily as she thought of all the weapons downstairs.

"Meow... well... have fun then..." Neko-Chan told Katt before yawning cutely.

"Believe me, Neko-Chan... I will! You have a good nap, okay?" Katt said as she left the room and closed the door silently.

Neko-Chan stretched again and wandered over to her bed. The catgirl would have gone to sleep, if the light at that moment hadn't decided to shine off the metal clasp of Frank's journal.

"Meow?" Neko-Chan said as she wandered over to his desk once more. Sure enough, the leather bound journal was there once more.

"Myah... he must have forgotten to put his memories up last night... meow... he was so tired..." Neko-Chan said to herself as she picked the heavy book up. Sure enough, curiosity got the best of the catgirl, since she was taking the journal over to Frank's bed. Neko-Chan hopped up onto the bed and sat with her legs crossed, both her tails wrapped around her. Sure enough, she opened the book to a random entry and began to read.

Tunlan! A city with a great history of music! Ever since coming to this dimension, I've wanted to visit this city... And finally, my dreams have come true.

I'm not in Windia at the moment. Right now, I'm on break from Windian High. During my break, the store that I work at (The Reverse Edge, which is also where I live) was invited to a weapons conference out in Tunlan. I was ecstatic, to say the least. Right now, I'm in my hotel room here in Tunlan. I'm sharing it with Chris and Alex. Damn... Alex snores... I may have to smack him with a pillow later...

Heh... Tunlan is much more than I expected... this place is GREAT! It's kinda like Hawaii back home... only its just one island instead of many. Like I said before, Tunlan has a history that is rich with musical history. In fact, music is the main language here! Good thing that Ellen and I are here... For some reason, we have no trouble communicating with anyone... usually we sing our words or play them out on instruments... And it just works...

The weather here is also perfect! The other day, I caught Neko-Chan sunning herself on the beach, along with Ellen and Diane. Kate and I couldn't help but laugh. I mean, it was cute! Neko-Chan was just there, on a beach chair, sprawled out and purring. But what got us were the sunglasses she was wearing! It was too cute!

"Meow... I remember that..." Neko-Chan said to herself. "Purr... Tunlan was great! I hope we get to go back again... that place was purrrrrfect.... Meow... the sun that day..." The catgirl returned her attention to the journal and began to read once more.

Jeez... Alex won't stop snoring... I can tell Chris is getting upset as well... he's starting to toss and turn, and his ears are flattening out... I'll have to do something about that soon...

The conference actually went over quite well... The store took honors for some of the custom weapons that I had developed. It actually impressed the higher ups here when I had demonstrated my slashers for them... And don't even get me started on the Western Custom...

While we weren't at the conference, we decided to take in the sites. Jess was quite impressed with Tunlan. Heh... she spent her days there at one of the beaches, or another weapon store. Alex and Ellie too... seems like the beach was their spot... Man, Alex just couldn't stop looking at her! Honestly... they were meant for one another... I can tell that now...

Chris and Diane were hardly seen... If I know those two, they've probably found their own little places by now... Kate and I... well... we walked the beach at night... did some stargazing, took in the sites and all... She was the first person to actually want to go to a museum with me... Heh... the Tunlan Musical Museum... We saw a relic that Katt recognized... Apparently, it could let anyone understand the music here in Tunlan, if they had it. We even took a tour of the castle! Heh... The town is nice... but the Queen is not all there...

Jeez... Alex won't stop snoring... Chris is also glaring at him... Time to go into action... Better get my duffle bag and all the pillows in the room... We're gonna let him have it with one big super pillow. Anyway, I'll write more tomorrow. Later!

Neko-Chan closed the book and redid the clasp. "Meow... I remember that... Tunlan was great!" The catgirl returned to the desk and placed the book back it the same position it was earlier.

The catgirl sauntered over to her bed and flopped down, with one thought on her mind before going to sleep.

Myah? Super pillow? Hmm... Purr... I wonder if that had anything to do with all the yowling that came from their room that night?
