Band practice had come to a close on Thursday. Frank was now walking home from Windian High, ready for his shift at the Reverse Edge. As soon as the Persona User walked into the doors of his home/workplace...

~POUNCE~

"ACK!!!" Diane surprised the Persona User by pouncing him as soon as he entered, sending him sprawling to the ground. Behind the happy woren was Chris, who just couldn't stop laughing. Frank noticed that Katt too was in the room, cracking up alongside Jess and Chris.

"Wha'sthesurprise? Wha'sthesurprise???" Diane said hurriedly as she sat atop the Persona User, her tail lashing about happily.

"Um... Diane?" Chris said with a chuckle as his own tail still waved around in amusement. "I don't think that he can tell you unless you get off of him..."

"Please?" Frank said in a pathetic sounding voice before he let out a light chuckle.

"Aww... okay..." Diane said before hopping off of her co-worker. Frank took a moment to get his bearing straight. After a couple of minutes, the Persona User hopped up, But...

~POUNCE~

"AGH!!!" Frank yelled, getting sent to the ground by a certain Nekomata. Neko-Chan pounced Frank hard enough to actually knock the glasses off of his face. The glasses seemed to hover in mid-air for a moment, before falling to the ground. Once more, everyone in the room began cracking up.

"MEOW!!! FRANK!!!" Neko-Chan said excitedly as her two tails began to whip around happily. "Purr... It's great to see you... Myah??? You look different..." The catgirl demoness cocked her head lightly and looked at Frank, while her whiskers began to twitch lightly.

Frank just squinted at his "sister". "Neko-Chan? Is that you? I think it is, but I can't see..."

"Meow? Hey..." Neko-Chan said as she continued to study the pinned Persona User. "Myah... your glasses... where are they?"

Katt was chuckling to herself as she watched the "siblings" together. Before long, she picked up the glasses and walked over to the Persona User and the catgirl demoness. The woren bent at the hip and looked at Frank, while her tail was flicking in amusement.

"Frank... I think you need these..." Katt told the Persona User as she held out his black, wire-frame glasses.

"Um... thanks Katt..." Frank said, since he was still pinned to the ground. Instead, Neko-Chan reached up, grabbed the glassed from the woren's awaiting hand before slipping them onto her "brother's" face.

"Myah! All better!!!" Neko-Chan said with a smile. Finally, the catgirl jumped off of Frank, allowing him to finally get up. After a few moments, Frank finally got up, and shook his head.

"That was pretty funny, Frank..." Katt said as she leaned against a display case and crossed her arms.

The Persona User didn't answer. Instead, he calmly dusted himself off and straightened out his uniform jacket, before taking off his pack and placing it behind a counter. He then picked up a smock, and put it on one he had taken off his jacket.

"What? I meant to let all that happen... really..." Frank said as he had a funny looking grin on his face. Once more, everyone in the room began to chuckle. "Anyway... Diane... your surprise... follow me, would you?"

Frank motioned toward the Research and Development Room with his thumb. The Persona User walked over, with Chris and Diane in tow. Neko-Chan decided to stay in the showroom with Jess and Katt.

Diane looked around eagerly, her tail flicking in anticipation. "What? Wha is it? Did ya make me another weapon? Frank..." Diane said with a smile as she flashed her vivid green eyes at the Persona User. "Ya shouldn' have..."

"I didn't..." Frank said as he walked over to where a tarp was covering something. Diane was taken aback.

If he didn' make me a weapon... then... jes what did he do fer me?

Chris and Diane watched as Frank pulled the tarp off of the weapon cabinet that he, Brad, Yuki, Jess, Neko-Chan, and Katt had worked on the night before. "This, Diane... With some help from the others... I made this last night as a way to say, I'm sorry."

As Diane eyed the weapon cabinet, her tail began to lash about happily. "Frank... ya shouldn't have..."

"Well, I did... Sorry about yesterday, Diane... we didn't mean to hurt you like that..." Frank said as he looked at his friend/co-worker apologetically.

"Frank..." Diane said as she approached her friend, and caught him in a tight hug. "I dunno what to say..."

"Heh... how about, thanks? But still... We won't let it happen again..." Frank said as he patted the younger Brandshire on the back before they separated.

"Tell you what..." Chris said as his tail waved around thoughtfully. "I'll help Frank take it over to your house after work. Ladon, it's the least I could do..."

"Chris... Frank..." Diane said as she looked from her boyfriend to her friend. "Thank y'all..."

Frank just smiled briefly at Diane, while Chris caught her up in a tight hug. Before long, the trio made their way out of the R&D Room to begin their shifts.
