Life at Windian High (Part 2)

Alex wasn't too sure about the safety of him entering his room right now.

On one hand, a weapon cabinet was definitly much less intimidating then another weapon.

However it was bad enough that Diane kept StormCaller hanging abover her bed.

And that she had her twin daggers on display above the door.

And that her ice slasher was placed between the lamp and window in such a way that the light glinting off of the weapon helped to illuminate the room at times.

Yes, it was bad enough that Diane already had most of her weapons strategically placed around the room for decoration, but Alex began to worry even more when he saw Chris lugging in his gatlin gun and hauling it upstairs. And now, the audiable purring that his sister was making was something Alex could hear from where he stood at the bottom of the stairs and gazed up, wonder just how safe it was and if he really wanted to enter his room. Reluctantly, the woren made his way up to his sleeping quarters and peeked his head in the doorway, spotting Diane, her tail lashing about happily as she purred loudly to herself. Currently she was looking around the room, glancing from her new cabinet to different areas along the wall.

"Would ya look better here? Or maybe here? OH! If I put ya there then I can see ya as the first thin' when I wake up in tha mornin'! Or if ye're right here, then yer one of the first thin's I spot when I come inta tha room. Right here and yer easily accessable... right here and ya'll prolly really annoy Alex." Diane grinned. "Ya, I think so far tha's my favorite spot."

Alex groaned as he stepped into the room. "Oh Landon no... now you've got some place to keep them all!" Diane immediatly started laughing as she caught the distressed tone in her brother's voice.

"Isn' it great??? Look! Everythin' fits in here! Boomer, StormCaller, Slice 'n Dice..."

Alex just shook his head in amazement. "Where do you come up with these names? Where do you come up with these weapons???? Landon! I never thought I'd see the day you'd have an arsenal like this!"

Diane just chuckled to herself as she scooted the cabinet over near the bunkbeds. "Here we go, yea, I think I like it here." The woren stepped back and admired the display case before she let out another loud purr. "Alright, and now ta start loadin' ya!" She unlocked and opened the cabinet, then began to carefully load it up, beginning first with placing all of her ammo into its respective places. Alex sighed again as he listened to his sister purring happily over her newest gift.

"Well," the older woren glanced around the room. "I had tried to clean this place up earlier, but what with all the weapons laying around I guess it's just gotten worse now after my efforts."

"Ah quit yer whinin'. I'll have all o' this cleaned up in a bit." Diane's tail continued to wave happily as she worked. Alex just made his way over to the desk and looked down at it.

"What's this on my notebook? Landon! There's so many weapons around here now they're generating in MY stuff!" Alex stared in wonder at the sketch of the bowgun that Frank and drawn in his notebook. Diane just started laughing. With a bewildered grumble, Alex ripped the page out of his notepad, set the piece of paper down on the table, then took his pad, a pencil, and digging out his english book from under the piles of school work, turned to head out of the room again.

"Hey?" Diane's ears perked up. "Where are ya going?"

"Someplace where hopefully the weapons won't be following me around anymore." Alex said as he headed through the hallway and down the stairs. Diane just chuckled and shook her head at her brother.

"Poor guy. Anyway... back ta work." She hummed a little tune to herself and continued to load up her weapon cabinet. "Hey... maybe I'll even make li'l name tags fer these guys and put them in tha cabinet too!"
