Life at Windian High (Part 2)

Everyone has their limits. Everyone has the point where if pushed just past, all hell is sure to break loose.

For Tellka, it wasn't easy to tell whether or not those limits were being pushed. Tellka was generally aggressive anyway, and she had no qualms about snapping back at people when she saw reason for it, which was just about all the time. However, Tellka did have limits, and amazingly enough they were rarely pushed.

But when it comes to Kate... The woren gladiator growled quietly under her breath as she stalked over to Nate, There's not excuse for the way he snapped at her...

Nate must have noticed her approaching, because he turned to face the warrior as she stalked up. Tellka's look of annoyance was met by one of Nate's own, and the two exchanged challenging glances as they size each other up.

"Well?" The snobbish Persona User snorted and adjusted his scarf. "What do you want? Didn't get enough to eat? Well that's just too bad, now isn't it Ms. Kitty?" Nate let out a slight sneer. "I did my part of the deal, and besides, you weren't even there after school! Kate or not, I still don't think you should have gotten in on the deal."

Tellka's ears flicked back dangerously as she narrowed her eyes at the Persona User. "Alright Nate, this has nothing to do with the stupid supper. In fact, if it really meant that much to you, why did you agree to the deal anyway?" Tellka let out a growl as he tail flicked in annoyance. "This does, however, have to do with Kate."

Nate snorted. "Whatever." The Persona turned to walk away from her, but in a flash Tellka moved to intercept him and he had to stop just short of walking straight into her. Nate just shot an even more annoyed look at Kate's guardian as he glared up at her. "What is it now?"

"Don't you walk away from me when I'm talking to you." Tellka growled out her words. "I'm serious, Nate. What you did to Kate was inexcusable."

"I don't even know what you're talking about!" Nate snapped back. He was definitly not in the mood to try and deal with the angeried Tellka, not like he ever was in the mood to deal with her. Tellka didn't hesitate with her answer.

"Last week, out in the park, does that ring a bell? Kate tried to talk to you and you just snapped at her! What is wrong with you, Nate?"

Nate's gaze was deadly as he glared up at Tellka. "That," the Persona User spoke in a tone that clearly showed the subject was a closed matter, "is none of your business."

"Oh?" Tellka leaned forward, her voice full of challenge and just a hint of mockery. "Well I think it is, because obviously if it wasn't any of my business then it wouldn't be affecting me now would it?"

Nate's eyes were unwavering as he just studied Tellka's face. With a mild snort of annoyance, the Persona User once again turned to stalk off, grumbling. "Psh... whatever, kitty. Just leave me the hell alone and stay out of my damn way."

Once again Tellka moved to intercept him. Nate was obviously becoming tired of Tellka placing herself as a road block infront of him, and she could tell by the way he looked at her. Tellka only batted an ear as her reply. She was almost done with the Persona User, but she wasn't about to let him go just yet.

"Look, Nate," Tellka crossed her arms over her chest, her tail flicking behind her as she stood like some sort of bouncer blocking the teen's path. "I don't give a damn about your business. I never did, and I probably never will. However, if you want to keep it your business then you'd better keep it your business, because the minute anything affects Kate it will immediatly become my business, understand?" Nate just muttered another 'whatever' as he shoved past her. This time she didn't move to stop him. She was finished with the Persona User.

For now. Tellka growled again lightly to herself as she too headed out on her way.
