It was Friday night in Torana, specifically the Friday night of the big dance at Windian High School. Frank Maynard adjusted the brown jacket that he was wearing over a long sleeved shirt, before knocking on the door of the Harlow household. The Persona User checked himself over once more, before the door opened. Carrie opened the door and smiled at the young man.

"My, don't we look handsome..." The elderly Windian said with a smile. "Please, come in... Kate's been waiting for you..."

"Thank you, Ms. Harlow..." The young Persona User said with a smile. Frank stepped into the home, and made his way into the living room while Carrie slowly closed the front door behind him. The Persona User walked in and saw Kate, seated on the couch. She was wearing an icy blue dress that slowly faded to white as it came around from back to front. There was a gray tiger stripe pattern similar to the one on her fur patterned onto the dress.

She's wearing the dress I bought her back in Lunarvale... Back when we had to stop the Snow Queen. Jeez... she looks really beautiful in it...

"Frank!!!" Kate said happily. The woren leapt from the couch and glomped her boyfriend, before looking up at him with her innocent blue eyes.

"Hey... great to see you..." Frank said with a smile as he hugged his girlfriend. "You look beautiful..."

"Really?" Kate replied as she smiled at the Persona User, her tail flicking back and forth lightly.

"Yeah... you do..." Frank said as he pulled a single daffodil from his jacket, and placed it in Kate's hair. "There we go..."

Kate made her way to a mirror and looked at her reflection. As the woren began to adjust the flower that was now adorning her long, dirty blonde hair, her ears began to twitch lightly. Finally, Kate was satisfied with where she had placed the daffodil, and she slowly turned to her boyfriend.

"You look great, Kate..." Frank said with a smile. "So... shall we get going, m'lady?" The Persona User said as he offered an arm to his girlfriend.

"Of course..." Kate said with a giggle, before she looped an arm through Frank's. At that moment, Tellka came down the stairs and looked at the young couple.

"All right you two..." The older woren said as she eyed Frank and Kate. "Have fun... and Frank, I will be seeing you tomorrow..."

"Right... I know, Tellka. Just give me some time to see Brad and Yuki... they're going back to Lunarvale..." Frank explained to his soon to be sensei.

Tellka just nodded at the Persona User. "You two have fun. Kate, I'll see you later tonight." Before either Frank or Kate could respond, Tellka made her way back upstairs.

"Well then... shall we get going?" Frank said to his girlfriend.

"Let's..." Kate replied as she wrapped her tail around her boyfriend. As the two teenagers left the house, Carrie called out to both of them.

"Have a good time!!!" The elderly Windian yelled to both teenagers. Frank and Kate waved back before they began their walk to The Tiger's Catch. The Persona User wrapped an arm around the woren, while she in turn kept her tail wrapped around him. Both of them walked in silence, just watching the stars. It was Kate who finally spoke up, as they passed Windia Park.

"You know..." Kate said softly as she looked at Frank. "A lot has happened... since that first day... when we met..."

"Yeah... I know..." The Persona User replied, trying to shove some of his bad memories to the back of his mind. "Many things have happened... Heh... I remember my first day here in Windia... It all started so innocently, Kate... just a normal day at St. Hermelin... Gah... who knew I'd wind up here?"

"Yeah, well..." Kate said softly as she leaned closer to her boyfriend. "I'm glad you showed up that day..." With that, the woren began to purr, just being comfortable with her boyfriend.

"I know..." Frank replied, drawing her closer. "I'd hate to think about what would have happened... if I didn't take that detour. I'm just glad... that I showed up here when I had to... it's like, an omen or something..."

Kate said nothing more, but continued to walk slowly with her boyfriend, purring in content. This time, it was Frank who broke the silence.

"Remember my first day at Windian High?" The Persona User said to his girlfriend. Kate looked up at him while her ears twitched back and forth in thought.

"I do..." Kate replied. "I was taking the attendance down for Ms. White when... I heard it... on my way back to the gym..."

"Heh... American Pie..." Frank said quietly. "God... that's one of my favorite songs... Honestly, on that day... I heard your name in my English and Math classes... and I just dismissed it... You came into the auditorium... while I was singing..."

"Well..." Kate replied while her ears twitched lightly. "I... kinda heard it when I passed the stairs... I just knew..."

"I understand... and when I finished... you just hugged me... and began to cry... So did I, Kate..." Frank replied softly, while stroking Kate's hair gently.

"I even remember what I said that day..." The woren said after purring lightly. She then looked up at Frank through her innocent blue eyes. "I said, welcome home..."

"And you know what?" The Persona User said before kissing Kate lightly on the head. "I'm glad to be home..."

The two teenagers continued on their way to the restaurant, close to one another, and just talking about little things. Anyone who passed would be able to hear the audible purring coming from Kate, or be able to see the wide smile on Frank's face as he held Kate close.
