Life at Windian High (Part 2)

As the dance at Windian High was starting up, one more loan figure was making its way outside to a desired destination. Tellka traveled like the wind in her spirit form, heading out into the woods, her favorite place to do her thinking. The woren warrior had a lot on her mind as she headed up into the limbs of a large tree and sat back, finally reverting back to her physical form. She was thinking more specifically of a couple at the dance, Kate and Frank.

He's always taken care of her. Tellka's ears twitching thoughtfully as she stared up at the sky. Moreso then I ever would have imagined anyone to. She had to admit, if she was going to leave Kate with anyone, Frank was really turning into the best choice. The woren's thoughts died down a bit and she let out a little sigh, watching her breath cool in the night air. Leaving. She wasn't sure when she had to go, but she feared it would be soon enough. Not too long ago she'd already felt something, something change in the world around her, and she knew her time was slowly catching up. When Ladon first awoke me like this, I remember I couldn't wait until this time would come, when I could finally finish up why I'm here and go back to my rest. However now, now she wasn't so sure. She'd grown so used to her other part, Kate, and thoughts of leaving her now caused the woren warrior to entirely rethink her own future. But the cards have been dealt, I should know better then anyone else that you have to live out your story. So the best thing she could do was find good company to leave Kate in.

Tellka's ears twitching lighly, and out of habit she drew her staff from where it was slung across her back and examined it. It was on odd sight to see, she still wasn't used to it. This wasn't her regular staff, it was a new one. Smaller, thicker, darker wood, different ornaments. Her latest staff had been destroyed when Tellka was attempting to help Nate train. Unfortunitly the woren hadn't know about the lazers on the Persona User's blade, and had underestimated the strength of his weapon. Said weapon went through Tellka's staff much like a hot knife through butter. Needless to say, the training ended there and Tellka spent the next week making herself a new staff. She was still getting used to this one. Her old one was more worn in, more familiar to her. Tellka batted an ear again and looked away from the weapon. For some reason, it was just making her think even more about Kate and the future.

There's still so many things I have to teach her. The woren let out a sigh again as she reclined on the large tree limb. So many things I want to teach her before I go. But she didn't know if there'd be enough time. She didn't know how much time was left. She did know, however, that in the time she had left, she was going to do her best to keep Kate safe and happy. Happy... Tellka's ears flicked lightly. That reminded her.

So how's the dance so far?

'Oh, we just got here actually.' Kate's reply echoed through Tellka's mind. 'But it's already a bunch of fun.'

That's good. Be sure to enjoy yourself there, Kate.

'Thanks Tellka!'
