Life at Windian High (Part 2)

Alex was still on stage with the rest of his band, however, his attention was focused out into the crowd where a little circle of students was just dispersing, and one woren history teacher was currently heading back over to the punch table. If Vagger's face held one of the biggest grins, then Alex's face must have been equally crushed looked.

Jaw slack, eyes wide, eyes and tail dropped so low that they all might as well have been dragging on the ground, arms hanging limply at his sides, he just stared in wonder. What put him into this state of shock? Some might wonder, was it the fact that he'd just witnessed two teachers kissing at a school dance? No, althought that was probably enough to put most students into shock, because there were nurmerous other slack-jawed gawkers standing around. No, what put Alex into this sudden state of dispair was that he'd witnessed the entire dance between the two teachers, the kiss, the students clapping....

And he'd been too busy on stage to stop and take a picture.

It was such an overwhelming urge to stop in the middle of playing and snap a picture of the teachers, to rush down there and find the perfect frame that would make Yearbook Teacher Section history, but instead he'd been up on stage playing along with his friends, and he missed the opportunity.

Oh yes, he could wait all night for those two to dance again, and perhaps even kiss again, but it wouldn't be like the first time. Oh no, it's never like the first time again. Alex proceeded to repeatedly smack his forhead with the palm of his hand, earning a look of concern from Ellen.

"Alex?" The blonde Persona User headed over to her boyfriend curiously. "Are you alright?"

"I just missed one of what could have been apart of the best moments in my life." There was a sort of haunted and distance look to his face. Ellen continued to watch him with a little concern, but in all honestly it was far too amusing to see the expression her poor boyfriend held, and she did her best to bite back a little giggle.

"It's alright dear, whatever it is, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about." She gave him a reassuring kiss on the forehead. Alex just fell face first and didn't move for a few minutes until he finally let out a little sob.

"One of the best pictures in my life and I missed it........"

"Best pictures?" Ellen asked curiosly, then immediatly realized what he must be talking about. "You mean with Ms. Smith and that other teacher? Love, I'll bet anything that Yuki probably got a picture of that." She chuckled. "You can always ask her for a double."

"But you don't understand!" Alex looked up again. "It's not the same thing! I could have had that picture!"

"Oh you silly furball." Ellen just chuckled and patted him lightly on the head.
