The group of teenagers made their way off the stage. As they reached the dance floor, a familiar face with long blue hair ran toward the group."Dude..." Brad said as he looked at the Light Dragon. "You okay, man?"
Ellen looked Ray over, noting the worried look on his face. "Ray? Did something happen?"
Ray just shook his head. "Frank, Ellen... Um... I'd hate to tell you this... but... Lucy is with Janet. I don't think they'll be able to sing again..."
"What?" Frank said as he looked his friend in the eyes. "What happened?"
"Something happened to Janet earlier this evening... and since then... Well..." Ray replied as he rubbed the back of his neck.
The three Persona Users and Alex Brandshire looked at each other with worry.
"Guys..." Alex said as he looked at his friends, his tail waving back and forth slowly. "What are we going to do?"
As the five teenagers stood there, thinking, the rest of their friends made their way over.
"Frank???" Kate said as she looked at her boyfriend with worry. "Something's wrong... I can tell..."
"Yeah..." Frank said as he rubbed the back of his neck. "We just lost the rest of our act..." The Persona User turned to the rest of his friends. "Any ideas, guys???"
Diane looked at Chris, who in turn looked at Cynthia. The wolf girl gave a shrug before turning to Yuki. The Japanese Persona User just shook her head, before turning to Ryan.
"Um..." Ryan said as his tail waved back and forth. "Mom wanted to get publicity for the restaurant... I could offer dinner to one of the couples here..."
"Wait..." Frank said as he looked at his best friend. "We could make it into a contest..."
"Sweet! A dance contest!!!" Brad said as he flashed his usual V for victory. Alyson took the moment to sneak up behind her boyfriend and take him into a hug.
"Ladon..." Alyson purred out. "That's so cute when you do that..." The white furred woren wrapped her tail around him, and leaned her head on his shoulder.
"So... um..." Chris said as he looked at Diane. "Up for some dancing then?"
"Oh yeah..." Diane said with that patented Brandshire grin, before she pulled her boyfriend out to the floor.
"Cynth... can you do us a huge favor???" Frank said as he looked at the Forest Clanswoman. "We need an announcer type... Just to keep things rolling. Can you do that?"
Cynthia just yipped in amusement before offering a toothy grin to the Persona User. "Of course I can, Frank..."
"I'll run up to the sound room, and handle anything you guys need." Ryan said as his ears began to flick lightly.
"Good, good. Can you mix sounds on the fly, Ryan?" Frank asked his friend.
"I can... I'll bring Kate up to help me..." In a golden blur, Ryan was gone, weaving a path up to the sound room.
Kate just began to giggle. "Frank... I'd better follow him. Take care up there, okay?"
"I will, Kate... I'll see you later..." The Persona User replied before he kissed his girlfriend. Within a moment, Kate was gone, and hot on the trail of Ryan.
"So..." Alyson said as her tail waved back and forth. "What kind of music are you guys going to play?"
"Dance music, obviously." Frank replied before leaning back a little and crossing his arms. "As to what songs we'll do..."
"Dude..." Brad started as he whipped out a comb and started fixing his hair. "Think about this. What did you, me, Mark, and Ellie always do in the arcade over at Sun Mall?"
"Of course!!!" Ellen said as she snapped her fingers.
"Um..." Alex started as he rubbed the back of his neck, his tail waving in confusion. "Someone explain?"
"Back home, we had this game called Dance Dance Revolution, Alex. Basically, it's a game where you... er... danced. It's kind of hard to explain..." Frank replied as he stood back straight.
"Wait... arcade? Dance Dance Revolution???" Alyson said as she turned her attention to her boyfriend. The white furred woren played with the flower in her hair before speaking again. "Brad, where are you and your friends from?"
"It's a long story, babe... Tomorrow, I'll tell you, before I go home..." Brad said to his girlfriend.
"Okay..." Ellen started before looking at the stage for a moment. "We have an idea, but what songs?"
"Ellie, remember 'Dynamite Rave'? You and I could sing that one..." Frank said to the blonde Persona User.
"Good choice, Frank..." Ellen replied as she adopted a thoughtful look. "You know, I've been dying to sing 'If You Were Here'..."
"Another good song, Ellie..." Frank said as he cracked a smile at his friend.
"Hey..." Brad looked up from his tie and looked over at his friends. "You guys mind if I toss one into the mix?
Now Ellen and Frank, having known Brad for a bit, knew just what their friend was like. The two Persona Users looked at each other, and in unison, turned to look at Brad Terranama, who happened to have a goofy grin adorning his face.
"It depends..." Ellen said as she clasped her hands together.
"Just what song are you going to do?" Frank asked as he leaned against the wall.
"Dude! This song has to be done! It's just begging!!!" With that, Brad did a karate chop and a kick at what seemed to be an invisible target. "C'mon Frank! Ellie! Let me do this!!!"
"Well... I guess..." Frank replied as he stood straight again. "Kung-Fu Fighting, right?"
"Oh, you KNOW IT!!!" The egotistical Persona User said all too enthusiastically.
"So..." Alex said as he watched the three Persona Users with interest. "How do we do this?"
"Simple..." Frank said as he removed his glasses. As the Persona User wiped his lenses with a handkerchief, he continued to speak to his friends. "We're gonna do a megamix."
"A megamix???" Ray asked his friends. "What's a megamix?"
"It's simple, really..." Ellen said after she offered a smile to the Light Dragon. "We're going to do one song, fade into the next, and so on. We play continuously."
"All right then..." Frank said to his friends after placing his glasses back on his face. "What order should we do our songs in?"
"I think it'd be best to let Brad go first..." The blonde Persona User told her friends. "You know, start of kind of slow..."
"That's a great idea, Ellie... Then we fade into your song, and finish up with Dynamite Rave." Frank replied after cracking a small smile.
"Dude, that sounds good to me..." Brad said as he continued to comb his hair. Satisfied that he apparently looked good, the Egotistical Persona User twirled his comb in his hand before putting it back into the breast pocket of his jacket.
With a nod to one another, the teenagers that made up the band, along with Cynthia Westin, made their way back to the stage. Cynthia pulled up a spare microphone, tapped it lightly, and began to speak.
"Can I have your attention???" The chocolate furred wolf girl said into the mike. One by one, the students of Windian High turned toward the stage and focused on the wolf clanswoman who was speaking to the crowd of teenagers. "The Blazing Dragons will be holding a dance contest for our couples out there! Three songs, back to back! The winners will win dinner for two at The Tiger's Catch!" Cynthia motioned to the band to begin playing. As the notes for Kung Fu Fighting began to flow from the band's instruments and the speakers, Cynthia let out a lolling grin and continued to speak.
"All right, Windian High!!! Give it your best!!!" The wolf girl yelled into the microphone before she left the stage.
Brad trotted up to the microphone and did a roundhouse kick, knocking the mike from its stand. The Persona User grabbed it by the cord, and yanked back, pulling the microphone into his hand before he began to sing.

Ellen stepped forward with a wide grin on her face. Brad tipped the microphone toward her, and her voice soon filled the auditorium.
Sexy kung fu fighter...
Let me take you higher...The female Persona User grinned at Brad before making her way further back on the stage. Brad Terranama did the upside down microphone stance before continuing his song.

1, 2, do the kung fuBrad looked out at the crowd and stuck the microphone out at the students of Windian High. Since the crowd of teenagers were rather pumped up, they knew exactly what to do.

But they fought with expert timingBrad finished his song, but the band continued to play in the background, slowly switching over from Kung Fu Fighting to the song that Ellen was going to sing. The blonde haired Persona User made her way to the front of the stage, where Brad handed off the microphone.
Cynthia was offstage, watching the group while she had a lolling grin going. The wolf girl raised her own microphone, and leaned out around the curtain to address the cheering students.
"All right! That was AWESOME! The next song's coming up! So keep dancing!!!" Cynthia returned behind the curtain as Ellen began to sing.

You could see what I am looking for nowEllen continued to dance to the beat while Frank made his way forward. By now, the cheering students were going wild. Cynthia came back on stage and began to speak, her tail whipping back and forth.
"That was a pretty good song!!! The final song is a hard one, so... Do what you can!!!" As soon as the words left the forest clanswoman's mouth, she tossed the microphone over to Frank, who caught it and pulled it closer to him. As the notes slowly changed over from If You Were Here, the two Persona Users began to dance up a storm on stage. It was Frank, who started the song, getting a loud cheer from the student body.
Frank: Dynamite RAVE!!!
Ellen: Come on, everybody...
And get on, the floor!!! Frank: Techno, rave
It's time to make a stand

Listen to that music and feel that beat... The two Persona Users continued to dance onstage as the crowd of students on the floor did so as well. After a moment or so, Frank raised his microphone and continued his song.

Listen to that music and FEEL THAT BEAT!!! YEAH!!! Frank and Ellen slowly stopped their dancing as the music drew to a close. The Blazing Dragons received an extended applause from all of the students. Brad came forward, and joined his friends as they took a bow.
"Thank you..." Frank said as he tried to catch his breath. "We'll be back shortly to announce the winners... Thanks again for your support...."
Frank and Ellen replaced their microphones, and left the stage with the rest of the band, each Persona User was worn down, but otherwise, happy.
