Life at Windian High (Part 2)

Diane Brandshire and just finished setting up her hammock in the back yard and hopped into it, feeling it swing a bit from her movements as she settled down, laying comfortable on her back and closing her eyes with a purr as she felt the warm sunlight filter over her. "Oh yea..." the woren purred happily to herself. "The only thin' tha' could make this better would be havin' Chris here. Well... and maybe a glass o' lemonade... a good book... my shinin' stuff and StormCaller... and Boomer..." Diane chuckled. "Heck, can't have tha' whole crew out here though, but it would be nice if Chris was out here." The woren's tail waved lightly. She could still remember back to when she had first met Chris, only a few months ago. Feels like almost forever...

It was back when the HellCat had been possessing him. Diane could remember what it was like, HellCat had possessed Chris to get back at the Lunarvale group. He had been stalking Ellen, and that had made Alex edgy. But we hadn't know about that then... Diane felt a little guilty as her tail flicked lightly. She had hated Chris back then, and that was no joke. Even after the HellCat had finally been taken out of Chris and destroyed, Diane was still uneasy around the woren. It had been a while before she had finally begun to lighten up to him, but what had really surprised her was when he had asked her out. That was a shock... Diane chuckled lightly to herself. She hadn't really known how to react right away but she had said yes anyway. One of the best things I think I've done. Her tail continued to wave lightly as a slight breeze rocked the hammock.

She could remember back to some of the first things they had done together. When Chris had taken her to an amazing spot on top of the Windian High School. We could see for miles up there... and later Diane had taken him to the lake hidden back in Windian Park. Where he had caught that fish. She chuckled to herself and yawned a lazy yawn. She also remembered what it was like when she had first been to Chris' house. The huge beautiful place he lived in. Geez, compared to his house my place is just some little shack. Diane let out a sigh. Never before had she felt so ashamed of her own house until she had seen where Chris lived. I just felt like he was so much better then me... but that didn't matter to him... the woren let out a deep purr. It didn't matter to him because he loved me... Diane felt a warm sensation running through her as she thought about that.

Bleah, mushy stuff. The woren chuckled to herself as she rolled over comfortably in the hammock and began to slip off into sleep. But still, it would be really nice if Chris was here right now...
