As it was, Chris's parents weren't home at the moment. He was taking care of his little sister. Currently, he was watching her as she played in the living room.

"Chris..." Cherise Fallon said timidly.

"Hmm?" Chris said as he looked at his little sister.

"You're thinking about her, aren't you?" Cherise replied before shuffling her feet.

"Huh?" Chris asked as he ran a hand through his jet-black hair. "What are you talking about, Cherise?"

"That girl, Chris... You get the same look that mom and dad have when they're around each other." The younger woren replied as she sat down at the table.

"Oh... Diane..." Chris replied with a smile. The older woren took a seat close to his little sister.

"Why don't you ask her to come over, big brother? I'd like to meet her." Cherise said while giving Chris a cute little look.

"Invite her over..." The older woren replied as his tail swished back and forth like a metronome. "That's not a bad idea... you know, let her meet the family and all..."

Cherise Fallon smiled at her older brother. "She'd have fun... be able to meet mom and dad..."

"They'd finally be able to meet the girl that I've been talking about... and afterward..." Chris started.

After dinner, we could sit outside in the garden... gaze at the stars... Diane would love that...

"I think I will, Cherise... I'll ask her at..." Chris was interrupted when the doorbell rang.

The two woren looked at each other.

"It can't be mom or dad... They're not supposed to be home for another hour..." Cherise said shyly.

Chris got up and made his way to the front door. Cherise was following him, her tail waving nervously.

The older woren opened the door, and to his surprise, Diane was standing there.

"Hey Diane!" Chris said as his tail waved happily.

"Heya Chris!" Diane replied with her trademark grin of cockyness. She spotted Cherise hiding behind his legs. "So... that's yer sister, huh?"

"Yeah..." Chris replied as he ran a hand through his hair. "Cherise, this is Diane. Diane, this is Cherise."

"Heya kiddo! Nice ta meet ya..." Diane said after crouching and extending a hand to the younger woren. Cherise timidly took the hand and shook it.

"Same to you..." The younger woren said as she shook Diane's hand.

"Aw... c'mon now... I won't hurt ya..." Diane said with a chuckle. She then reached out and began to tickle Cherise, who started to giggle with delight.

Chris smiled at both his girlfriend and his little sister. His tail was waving happily.

Good to know that they get along... That's one for my side!

"Hey Chris..." Diane said as she sat near Cherise.

"What's up?" Chris asked his girlfriend.

"Um... I was kinda wantin' ta know... Do ya want ta come over tonight fer dinner?" Diane said nervously. The fact that she was extremely nervous was also conveyed by the way her tail was moving.

"Diane... of course I would! Um... what time though?" Chris replied before running a hand through his hair.

"In a few hours." Diane said to her boyfriend.

"I can do that. Mom and Dad will be home soon." Chris said with a smile.

"Great!" Diane said happily. "Well then... I'll see ya tonight, okay?"

Chris's tail waved. "Sure thing, Diane. I'll be there!"

Chris and Diane exchanged a kiss before Diane left for home. Cherise tugged on her brother's blue jeans.

"She beat you to it, big brother..." Cherise said with a giggle.

"Tell me about it! I'll be sure to invite her over sometime..." The woren said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
