"P-chan, my teacher is crazy." Janet opened the door of her little bird's cage and immediately the small, pink creature fluttered out and took it's perch on the windian's finger. With a sigh, Janet made her way over to her bed and sat down, pulling out her bag of bird feed and scooping some up in her other hand, letting P-chan nibble the seed as she spoke to the bird. "First she gives me detention for being late when I was early to school, and then somehow she manages to find out about the hall pass and lets me go home. I tell you... teachers are another race all their own." P-chan's only reply was a chirp and a flutter of feathers before it took a few more pecks of seed.

Janet sighed. "And of course I still don't know what to do about the WINGS... Lucy won't leave me alone... and I've got this feeling that if I don't do something soon Yuki's going to start bugging me more too. Landon, and then there's Jason. What's his problem anyway? He was the one who started all the trouble... around the campfire..." Janet thought back to how Jason had first brought around her suspicions of Justin and Candice. "I can't believe I let him convince me like that..." Janet shook her head. "He had even said it himself. He just does things like this to be a jerk anyway..." The windian stared down at the little bird for a moment. "And then in Springton when I had wandered off... he had gotten me so upset I just..." Janet's voice trailed off into a sigh as she remembered back to the day that the group had stopped at Springton and Janet had stormed off because of Jason. What ashamed her the most about that day was the fact that Jason then saw her crying after he had found her out in the town. Crying because of those ideas about Justin he had put in my head... Jason... you jackass... why did you have to come find me anyway? Janet blinked, feeling a few tears appear in her eyes. Why did you have to come with all of us in the first place? Why did you have to put those ideas into my head about Justin? Justin loves me... look at how worried and relieved he had been when I saw him during lunch... he cares about me... like a real friend... Janet sniffed and brushed a few tears away with her free hand, P-chan perched on a finger of her other hand, pecking contently at the seed in her palm. Janet swallowed for a moment and closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down. Dammit... I hate it when I cry. And I hate it even more when people see me cry... Jason... damn you, you jerk... why did you come looking for me in Springton? Why did you have to be there to see me crying?... Janet took a deep breath and finally managed to calm herself down. She also hated it when she got upset over certain matters. Right now, she didn't want to think about Jason and the idea that Justin was cheating on her. Right now, she just wanted to feed her bird and wonder about how Mrs. Wireman had known that Janet had been given a hall pass even though the science teacher hadn't asked to see it.

She also didn't want to think about the WINGS. She had no idea what to do about the WINGS. Inside of her, Janet could feel the truth in the words that Lucy and Yuki had spoken to her. Her real friends weren't the WINGS. Her real friends had been the people who had helped her when she had needed help the most. People who had put up with her, supported her. People who had given her a chance. "People like Yuki..." Janet sighed. "Yuki who didn't seem to like me too much at first. People like Lucy... we've been friends for so long. Even Frank. He worried about me and my safety back in Lunarvale..." Janet paused for a moment as her mind went back to when Lucy and her had caught Frank in the auditorium, singing. There had been something different about the Persona User that day. Something different, and sad... and Janet felt guilty for not being able to help him at the time. The windian sighed.

"Help Frank... I can't even help myself right now... Landon, P-chan... what do you think I should do?"

The little bird looked up at its mistress and gave a chirp before it went back to happily munching on seeds.
