"So Ray..." Frank said as he removed some books from his locker "Just how long has this been going on? The snow and all, that is..." The Persona User shut his locker and shouldered his backpack. Both he and the Light Dragon continued down the halls in Windia High.

Ray Bendrel rubbed the back of his neck. "Um... only yesterday, Frank. What exactly are you and Yuki planning to do?"

"Honestly? Well... I've had to deal with this JackFrost before... there was an incident in the gym, another one where he was raining nuts down on Janet and Justin, and another one where he was messing with Tellka when she was making a new staff..." Frank replied casually before removing his glasses and cleaning them.

"Wait..." Ray said before turning to his friend. "The little guy messed with Tellka, and she let him live???"

"Yeah... Kate wouldn't let her kill him... She thought he was cute!" Frank said with a grin. "Anyway... what we're going to do is catch him, then contract him."

"Hold up... contract him??? Wha?" The Confused Light Dragon asked Frank, who only smiled.

"Contract. Demons will sometimes sign contracts with Persona Users. We've had to do it before, but he's always found the loophole... This time around, Yuki and I will make sure that he won't." Frank explained.

The Light Dragon and The Persona User made their way into the courtyard, before Frank asked the inevitable question.

"Ray... you know a dance is coming up soon... Are you going to ask Lucy?"

Ray just blushed and began to rub the back of his neck nervously. "Um... well... I know I should... but..."

"You just don't know how, right? I'll tell you this." Frank said as he turned to the Light Dragon and looked him in the eyes. "Be honest, and be yourself. That usually works, man."

"All right... I'll try that... speaking of the dance... are you guys going to be playing? And are you going to ask Kate?" Ray said before shifting his backpack.

"We might be playing... People have been asking me the same question all day... And as for Kate..." Frank looked around and spotted his girlfriend, about to leave. "Wait here for a sec, okay?" Before the Light Dragon could respond, Frank took off running in Kate's direction.

"Kate! Hey!!!" Frank said as he ran toward the woren. Kate turned, and smiled as she saw her boyfriend running toward her.

"Hi Frank!" Kate replied as her tail waved happily.

"Kate... Um... you know... there's a dance coming up... Would you like to go with me?" The Persona User said as he looked his girlfriend in the eyes.

"Myah! Of course I would, Frank!" Kate said with a smile.

Frank grinned. "Great! I'll pick you up then... Hey... want to come with Ray and me? We're going to his house to fix his snow problem."

"I would, but..." Kate said as she shuffled her feet. "Um... I've got to practice with Tellka today..."

"That's all right... Hey... if you're not too tired, maybe we can go stargazing again, later tonight? What do you say?" Frank said with a smile.

"I'd love that Frank! So..." Kate said happily.

"I'll pick you up tonight, okay? Kate... I've gotta go... seems like Yuki found Ray... and we've got work to do. I'll see you, okay?" Frank said before giving his girlfriend a kiss.

Kate purred. "All right. I'll see you tonight! Bye Frank!" The woren said happily as she waved to her boyfriend. Frank returned the wave before making his way back to his friends.

"What was that about?" Yuki asked Frank before she adjusted the hair clip in her hair.

"Just had to ask my girlfriend to the dance, that's all. Anyhow... let's get this over with, okay?" Frank replied before adjusting his backpack.

The trio of students made their way out of the courtyard. On the way to Ray's home, they got to talking about the current situation at hand.

"Be careful..." Ray started. "I know Brat... and she'll probably throw another snowball as soon as I open the door."

"Well then..." Yuki replied. "We'll have to use an element of surprise..."

"That's not going to be easy, Yuki. For one thing..." Frank started as they rounded the corner onto the street where the Bendrels live. "Snow is noisy if you step on it. He'll also try to get away the minute he spots me. I've had to stop his little pranks before..."

"Well..." Ray said as he tapped his chin lightly. "We do have a back door. You just have to hop the fence. Yuki and I could go from the front..."

The trio of teens turned into the walkway into the front lawn of the Bendrel house. Immediately, Yuki and Frank noticed that something was amiss, since the windows were fogged up.

"Ray... I think there is snow in there... look..." Frank said as he pointed at the windows. The Light Dragon looked in the direction that the Persona User was motioning to, and sure enough, a layer of ice covered a window before his eyes.

"All right... Ray, I'll do like you said... I'll hop the fence and approach from the back. Is the back door unlocked?" Frank asked his friend.

"I think so. If not, just come back around, okay?" Ray replied before looking at the front door.

"We'll handle things up here. Just sneak up on him from the back, okay?" Yuki explained to Frank.

"Got it." Was all Frank said before hopping the fence into the backyard.

Ray opened the door and shouted his usual greeting. Before doing so, he made sure Yuki was out of sight.

"I'm ho-"

*FWUMP*

Sure enough, Ray Bendrel was on the receiving end of another snowball. Beside him, Yuki was trying to stifle her laughter.

Phen was giggling at the sight, along with Britney. The little JackFrost stopped laughing when a slight crunching noise came up from behind him along with a shadow that overlooked both he and the young Light Dragon.

"Don't you ever learn???"

Phen let out a slight puff of cold air before turning slowly. As soon as he noticed Frank, he let out a little yelp. He could feel the Persona User's resonance and chi radiating from his soul. What he didn't notice was the other aura that had entered the room.

"Wee hoo! Outta here, ho!" The JackFrost said as he took off running. However, he ran straight into Yuki. With a surprised sounding "Hi-ho," he toppled onto his back. Immediately, Yuki picked him up.

Phen shook his head and noticed that he was in the arms of another Persona User.

"AHH!!! DON'T KILL ME, HO!!!" Phen shouted. Afterward, he let out a defeated sounding sigh.

"Ray!!!" Britney said as she ran to her brother. "Don't let them hurt my friend, please!!!"

"They're not going to, Brat." Ray said with a smile. "They're just trying to clear something up with him."

"Okay..." Frank said as he looked at Phen. "Contract. Now. No snow in any home..."

"Or building for that matter." Yuki added carefully.

"That, and your pranks can't go overboard anymore. Got it???" Frank said as he looked at the demon.

"WAIT!!!" Britney said as she ran up to Frank. "Can't he stay here???"

"Brat... I don't think..." Ray started.

"Please???" With that, Britney and Phen gave the older Light Dragon the most adorable eyes on the face of Torana.

Ray rubbed the back of his neck before letting out a sigh. "All right... I guess he can stay..."

"YAY!!!" Britney yelled before grabbing her brother's leg in a hug. "Thank you!!!"

Frank chuckled. "Okay... but you..." The Persona User said before looking at Phen. "Need to clean this mess up. And give us a contract, okay?"

"Wee hoo! Of course!" With a snap of his fingers, a document appeared with the details of what had been discussed earlier. Frank took the paper, while Yuki let the JackFrost go. Immediately, the little demon ran to the middle of the room. Phen jumped into the air, did a backflip, and stretched his hands out. As he did so, all the snow just disappeared.

"There, ho. All better! Wee-hoo!" The JackFrost said with a smile.

"Well..." Frank said as he turned to Ray. "We're done here... I'll see ya, man..."

"All right... Yuki, Frank, thanks again. Maybe I'll see you both tomorrow. Take care!"

Both Persona Users left the house with a wave. Behind Ray, they could see Britney and Phen dancing together.
