Saturday in Torana...

Frank Maynard had something important to do. Kate had told him that Tellka had signed her up for a coliseum fight today. The Persona User promised that he'd be there to keep an eye on her and to cheer her on. What had happened the last time in the coliseum still haunted Frank's mind.

That's in the past... I do know that this time... Tellka and I will possibly be more alert... I don't want anything to happen to her...

Frank smoothed out his dark green sweatshirt. It was still kind of cool outside, but not as cold as it was last night. He put his skateboard on the ground and strapped on a helmet.

With a breath, he stepped down on the board and began to skate toward the coliseum. Instead of taking the short route, he decided to do some tricks on the way. The Persona User hit a ramp like structure, took to the air, and did an Airwalk over Alex Brandshire, who was walking toward The Tiger's Catch.

"Hi Alex!!!" Frank yelled down below. The woren looked up in amazement. Soon enough, the Persona User landed, and went into a manual. "Bye Alex!" Frank yelled as he kept his balance.

The Persona User dropped back onto four wheels and kicked to gain a little more speed. Occasionally, he'd pop up to do either a kickflip, heelflip, or a standard shove it.

Unfortunately, he didn't see Ray and Lucy up ahead before it was too late. The Windian and the Light Dragon were walking down the street, holding hands.

"LOOK OUT!!!" Frank yelled as he closed in on the couple. Both Ray and Lucy looked up only to notice that a Persona User zooming at them at an insane speed. Ray noticed that Frank had dropped to a laying position on his board and had both arms crossed over his chest, like he was in a coffin. Sure enough, he had zipped right underneath their arms, just narrowly avoiding being clotheslined.

Lucy took a look at the rolling Persona User before turning to her boyfriend.

"It's always either Ellen, or him... They both nearly run me over everytime..." The Windian said as she shook her head lightly.

"Well... at least they don't, Lucy... You're still okay..." Ray said with a light chuckle.

Frank managed to get back into a standing position after doing the coffin land trick. Noticing that he lost a lot of speed he began to kick again.

"That was close..." Frank said to himself. He noticed another ramp like structure, and headed toward it as well. After gaining some big air, he flew over Brad Terranama while doing a signature move. Brad looked up and saw Frank, doing a Rocket Backflip, and landing perfectly.

"Damn... that was TIGHT!!! He's still doing those tricks! Like back home..." Brad said in amazement. The Persona User whipped out a comb and fixed his hair. "Anyway... time to find a date for that dance!!!" Brad put his comb back in his pocket and began to whistle a slight tune as he walked down the street.

Frank landed the trick and pumped a fist. "That was AWESOME!!! Gotta give me props for that one!!!" The Persona User went into a tuck and finally made it to the coliseum. He skidded to a stop, kicked up his board, and walked into the coliseum. He checked in at the front desk, and got clearance to meet Kate in the dressing room.

Outside the room, Frank removed his helmet before chuckling to himself lightly.

Ironic... she has the same dressing room as before... when... that happened...

The Persona User shook his head lightly before knocking on the door gently. This time, Frank was hoping not to be greeted by a swinging staff. Luckily, he wasn't. Kate opened the door, and greeted him with a smile.

"Frank! You came!!!" The woren said happily. Immediately, she opened the door to let him in.

"Wow..." Frank said as he eyed Kate in her battle outfit. "You look beautiful!!! I don't remember that from the last time..."

Kate blushed beneath her fur. "Thank you..." With that, she gave her boyfriend a hug.

"Oh, how touching..." Tellka said before rolling her eyes. "Kate, no time for that now... the fight's going to start any moment."

"Aw... okay..." The younger woren said before separating from her boyfriend.

"Kate... I'll be in the front row... keeping an eye out for you, okay? And afterward, I'll heal you up, okay?" Frank explained.

All Kate did was offer a shaky nod. The Persona User put a hand on her shoulder, and she looked up at him.

"Be careful out there, okay?" And with those words, Frank took Kate into a kiss, which she returned.

"I will... I've got you and Tellka watching over me." Kate said with a smile.

"C'mon Kate... Let's GO!!!" Tellka said impatiently.

"I'll see you soon, Kate, and good luck!!!" Frank said before waving and heading out toward the spectator's area in the coliseum Kate was fighting in.

Frank settled down and listened to the announcer.

Please Kate... just stay safe... I don't want anything happening to you...
