Life at Windian High (Part 2)

"Ah..." Chad sighed as he and David made their way over to the WINGS table where Candice and Justin were already sitting. "I've got to do a skit infront of the class next period with Amber Brye..."

"Amber?" David chuckled at his friend. "That one girl you're always complaining about because she's always popping her gum at the most annoying times? That Amber? The Amber who thinks you're gay?" David grinned as Chad rolled his eyes.

"Well," the windian started in a rather flamboyant voice. "I don't know what would give her that idea." He punctuated his sentence by slipping an arm around David and resting his head against the wrestler's shoulder with a sigh as the two stepped up to the table.

"Oh for crying out loud." Candice rolled her eyes at the scene. "Not in public!"

"Of course not..." Chad removed his arm from David's shoulder and turned to his friend with a grin, fluttering his eyelashes. "Hey cutie, I'll be seeing you in the Green Room after school." Candice rolled her eyes, causing the two windians to start laughing as they headed over to their usual seats.

"It's no wonder you two have never had a girlfriend." Candi began to nibble on a spoonfull of her yogurt and David shrugged as he and Chad sat down.

"Well, that, and have you ever taken a look at most of the girls around here?" He and Chad then exchanged glances and they each made disguisted expresssions.

"Eye candy."

"Air heads."

"No sense of humor."

"Just don't know how to have fun."

The two then sighed and in perfect unison, they reached into their backpacks, pulled out their lunches bags, removed their almost identicle thermoses, set them out on the table next to each other, then dumped the rest of their lunch contents out onto the table. Candice gave a disguisted look as she glanced from David's pile of assorted types of food to where Chad was currently looking at the contents of one of his sandwhiches.

"Honey, ketchup, and fried eggs.... yummers..." Chad glanced over at David. "Wanna trade?"

Candice groaned. "Frankly, I'd feel sorry for any girl that winds up with either of you two."

"Heeeey!" Chad grinned as he folded his hands behind his head and leaned back in his seat. "We're great guys! I think you chicks just don't appreciate the caliber of men we are!" David then followed up Chad's comment by taking a huge gulp from his drink and belching loudly. Candice groaned again and Justin held back a chuckle as his white wings shrugged a bit in amusement.

"Dude..." Chad turned and gave his friend a disapproving look. "What do you say after that!"

"Sorry, let me try again." David chuckled and went to take another gulp of his drink. Candice just rolled her eyes and leaned up against Justin.

"Anyway, have you two figured out what you're going to do about your long lost boyfriend?"

"Huh, Jason?" Chad picked up an apple that had been in his lunch and began to twirl it around in his hands, his mood seemed to fall a bit as he stared at the fruit thoughtfully. "Yea we figured we're going to do something about that after school."

Candice smirked at the brown-windged windian, and gave the two a look that left David feeling uneasy. "Well, good luck." The blonde windian then stood up and stretched. "Justin, I'm going to run to the locker really quick, I'll be back, alright?" She flashed the white-winged windian a suggestive smile as she walked away from the table. Justin watched her go.

"And...." Chad was now holding the apple, a couple of wrapped up cupcakes from David's lunch, and his thermose, tightly closed up, in his hands. With a few quick tosses, the windian quickly began to juggle the items. "Hup-ho hup-ho hup-ho hup-ho..."

"Man," David was munching on one of his many sandwiches as he watched his friend. "That's a waste of good food."

"Only if I drop it." Chad continued to juggle the items. David shook his head.

"You're going to drop it."

"Am not."

"Are too."

"You can't jinxs me."

"Dude, you're going to drop them!"

"Am not!"

"I guess you're right." David shrugged and took a drink. "You won't drop them."

Immediatly Chad missed catching the apple and the entire cluster of food he had been holding up went crashing to the ground all around him. The windian stared at the random items in wonder before turning to David. "How did you..."

"Hey, I can't give away all my secrets." The windian chuckled as he reached down to pick up his muffins that had hit the ground near him. Chad was busy retrieving his thermose from where it landed on the seat next to him when he looked around.

"Dude, where'd my apple go?" The brown winged windian scratched his head in wonder. Justin glanced up from his lunch and shrugged, then stood up and began to look over around Chad and David.

"There it is." Chad turned to where Justin was pointing and caught sight of his apple rolling around under the tree that sat nearby the WINGS table.

"Ahh... there you are, you thought you could get away from me, huh?" Chad went to leave his seat but paused for a moment. "Um..." The windian stroked his goattee thoughtfully, then leaned back in his seat folding his arms behind his head. "Hey, Justin? I don't suppose you'd mind getting my apple for me, would you?"

"What?" Justin shot him a look that said 'are you crazy?' "It's you're apple! Besides, you're closer to it!"

Chad's wings twitched a moment before he then turned to David. "Dude? Think you could get the apple?"

"Why don't you do it?" David scratched the back of his head in confusion as Chad shrugged.

"Well, I'd love to just stand up right now, and go over and get that apple... but... you know... I can't seem to get up from my seat."

"What?" David's expression became ever more confused as he looked at his friend. Chad just shrugged casually again and went back to stroking his goattee.

"It seems to me that I have suddenly conceived the inability to affectively remove myself from this spot with any means of force."

"So you're stuck?" David chuckled. "Man, just try and stand up really quickly or something."

Chad shrugged his wings as he leaned forward in his seat. "Alright, here goes nothing." The windian then made a motion to quickly stand up but paused suddenly and leaned back in his seat, once more folding his arms behind his head. "No... actually... I don't think that's the best course of action right now."

"Oh?" Justin looked over at the stuck windian. "Why not?"

Chad cleared his throat a moment before stroking his goattee. "Well... I think I'd like to keep my pants in one piece if there just happens to be a more effective way to get out of this situation right now..."

David simply busted up laughing as his friend shot him a curious look. "Man! That's great! Stuck to your seat and you can't get up without tearing your rear off!"

"I'm glad you appreciate it. If you enjoyed the show so much, stick around for later when you go over 'the best of Pants Down Man, the reruns we'll never forget, no matter how hard we want to.'" By now, Chad was smirking too as David continued to laugh. "Anyway, so would you mind getting my apple for me?"

"Sure... sure..." David was attempted to catch his breath as he wiped a few tears from his eyes. "Heh, man, whoever did that to you... that is GREAT!" The windian began to guffaw loudly once more as Chad merely sat back and waited.

"Dude..."

"Right, apple, right..." David chuckled and went to stand up to retrieve Chad's apple from under the tree. The windian wasn't even out of his seat before a look of sudden realization passed over his face and he paused. "Um..."

Chad's eyes went wide with amusement as he realized what had stopped his friend. "You too! DUDE!" Now it was Chad's turn to double over with laughter as David simply began to drum his fingers in the table, waiting for his friend to either catch his breath or pass out.

"Dude...." Chad's laughing had gone down to a hyper giggle as he tried to control himself. "Oh cheezus, this is way too funny!"

"Yea, well," David cleared his throat before poping his knuckles. "I enjoy a good prank as much as you do, but Chad? What are we going to do?"

"Uh..." the windian's face immediatly changed from amused to confused as he stroked his goattee. "That... is a good question..."

"Stand up, lose pants." David started.

"Sit down, remain stuck..." Chad nodded.

The two then exchanged glanced before turning to Justin. The white-winged windian looked between them before flexing his wings. "... what?"

"Justin..." Chad clasped his hands together and set them on the table, leaning forward and batting his eyelashes at him with a puppy-dog expression on his face. "Justin..."

"Don't look at me like that or I'm going to sock you." Justin jabbed his finger at Chad who immediatly withdrew with a nonchalant whistle and David chuckled.

"Man, anyway," David shook his head at his friend before turning to Justin. "Think you could go get a janitor or something? We do kinda need to be able to get up eventually..."

Justin was about to say something when Candice came walking back up. "Justin..." her voice rang out musically as she ran a finger over the windian's white wings. "Come on, bell's going to ring soon and we need to get off to class."

Justin glanced from Chad and David, to Candice, and then back over to Chad and David giving them both a little smirk and a shrug as he stood up, slipped an arm around Candi's waist, and the two headed off. Chad and David simply exchanged glances.

David groaned. "Oh...."

"... crap..." Chad began to stroke his goattee again. "Alright, so now what?"

Right after his sentence was finished, the bell signaling the end of lunch rang, and once again the two windians exchanged glances as students all around them began to make their way out of the cafeteria and towards their classrooms. With a sigh, Chad leaned back in his seat again, once more resting his arms behind the back of his head. It wasn't until most of the students had filed out of the cafeteria that the two WINGS members suddenly registered the quiet sound of a light thump behind them, and they both turned to see Alyson walking up to them, a smirk plastered onto her face and Chad's apple in her hand as her tail waved with amusement.

"You!" Chad blinked as he recognized the white woren from the park. Alyson didn't make any reply right away. Instead, she simply sauntered up to the two windians, examing Chad's apple lightly. She then rubbed the fruit on her shirt and took a big bite out of it, leaning foward to gaze at Chad face to face as she chewed loudly, her tail waving.

"MMMMMMMmmmmmmm." The woren swalled and grinned, flashing her canines as her eyes sparkled. "Good apple." With that, she then turned and made her way casually away from the two trapped windians and off to her next class.

Chad and David's jaws dropped in unison and after a moment the two turned to each other.

"Was that..." Chad started. David just nodded.

"Chick from the park? Yea."

"And was she..."

"Eating your apple? Yup..."

"Think she..."

"Trapped us here?"

The two windians looked up as suddenly Alyson's voice called back to them, the woren had turned towards them. With a laugh, Alyson placed a hand on her hip. "Oh, and by the way..." she leaned forward, making sure she had both David and Chad in her gaze before continuing, her tail lashing about behind her happily. "Girls... Kick... BUTT!!!" She punctuated her sentence by sticking her tongue out at the two before taking another bite out of Chad's apple and hurrying off the class. David clicked his tongue and nodded with a sigh.

"Yea, I think it's safe to say she's why we're stuck here." David glanced over at his friend. "... man... your eyes are like... the size of saucers..."

"Huh?" Chad blinked suddenly and turned to his companion. "What?"

"Nothing." David chuckled. "Anyway, so now what do we do?"

Chad stroked his goattee once more as he heard the bell ring signaling the end of passing time. "Good question..." It wasn't until a few minutes later that a couple of the janitors showed up to assist the two trapped windians by removing the tops of the seats that they had been sitting on. Although each were able to escape the incident with their pants in once piece, both were stuck walking around the school with lunchroom seats glued to their butts until fifth period when they were finally sent to get a change of pants. The rest of the school day passed without incident, save for a bunch of odd looks from the rest of the student body.
