Life at Windian High (Part 2)

It was a clear night in Windia... Around this time, most people were now asleep, or just about ready to go to bed.

A golden butterfly was floating around one of the upper windows in The Reverse Edge. The Persona Users, plus their friends who were involved in the Snow Queen Incident, would know what the butterfly really was. In fact, it was how Philemon showed himself to them.

The butterfly flew hovered outside the open window for a moment before heading inside of the store's living quarters. Inside the guest room, two Persona Users, a male and a female, were asleep in separate beds. Brad Terranama was snoring soundly in his sleep while Yukino Kauro slept with a set of earplugs in her ears. The butterfly flew back outside the window and into the next room.

Frank Maynard was tossing and turning in his sleep. The nekomata demoness in the nearby bed shot up.

"Meow? Frank?" Neko-Chan said before leaping out of bed. "Myah? Frank? Are you okay???"

"Mmm... MMM!!!" Frank muttered as he tossed and turned in his bed. "Stop...no... DON'T!!!"

"Myah!" Neko-Chan's tails were waving around frantically as her ears drooped. "What's wrong? Meow???"

"No... stop... not mom and dad! NOOO!!!" With that Frank shot up in a cold sweat, breathing hard and trying to catch his breath.

"Meow! Frank! Are you..." Neko-Chan said as she looked at Frank.

Frank turned his head and squinted a little to get Neko-Chan focused. "Neko-Chan... I... I..."

"Meow... here Frank..." Neko-Chan replied as she slipped his wire frame glasses onto his face and handed him a towel. "Are you okay, meow? I mean... Myah... I've never seen..." With that, the demoness turned on the lamp in their room.

Frank wiped his face with the towel, along with his arms and his neck. "Neko-Chan... remember what I said in Lunarvale... My parents? I had that nightmare... again."

"Meow? Frank?" The Persona User didn't even look up, since he was trembling.

"Neko-Chan..." Frank said quietly. "I... I... I keep seeing it... over and over... It's haunting... haunting me... I see it... slow motion... Guido..."

The Nekomata took a seat beside Frank, who was still continuing to tremble.

"He... killed them... both... and he enjoyed it, Neko-Chan... the bastard... I wish..." Frank was now shaking, and holding back his tears.

"Frank..." Neko-Chan said quietly before taking him into a sisterly hug. "Myah...it's okay... Hush... Meow..."

Frank returned the hug and continued to cry until he himself finally fell back asleep. Neko-Chan grabbed her pillow from her bed before curling up beside Frank, so that she could make sure nothing else was to happen to him that night. Soon enough, the catgirl was sound asleep, purring in her dreams.

The butterfly flew out of the room and towards The Tiger's Catch restaurant. Ellen's window was cracked a little, so the butterfly flew in. Ellen Johnson was sound asleep, cuddling the ChibiAlex doll in her arms. If Philemon were actually present, he would have had a smile on his face. Once more, the butterfly took off and headed toward the residence of Carrie Harlow.

The butterfly flew up to the second floor of the small house and entered a room. It could feel the presence of Kate's guardian around her, but she was nowhere to be seen. Currently, Kate was laying down on her bed, gently petting a little black kitten. Both the kitten and the woren purred in happiness, before sleep finally overcame both of them.

This time, the butterfly flitted out of Kate's room and made a journey over to the Brandshire residence. A light was on in the kitchen, so that's where the butterfly flew to.

The window was closed, but everything could be seen inside. The butterfly could see both Brandshire siblings, arguing over something. Upon further inspection, Alex and Diane were fighting over the last chocolate chip and peanut butter cookie that their father had made. Wisely, the butterfly flew away and over to the Meyer's residence.

Flitting around the Meyer's house and leaving a trail of golden sparkles, the butterfly finally made it's way over to Janet's room. Noting that her window was open, the butterfly flew in and landed on P-Chan's cage. It flitted it's wings lightly and began to listen to the Windian.
