Life at Windian High (Part 2)

Janet didn't notice the butterfly as she sat on her bed with P-chan on her finger. The little pink creature was listening to her as the windian talked to it.

"So that's that, P-chan. No more WINGS. No more Justin..." Janet sighed. "It's so weird, thinking that we're not together anymore. I mean... I know it's better this way, but I just feel like there's something missing now..." Janet sighed as the little pink bird nipped her finger carefully and chirped, fluttering its wings. Janet smiled down at it.

"I know, it's silly for me to think about missing Justin. But, it's not Justin, it's thinking that I don't have anyone there now..." The windian sighed and rubbed her arms. "I just wonder what's going to happen now. I've always been around the WINGS, but now they're gone... I know I'll go back to hanging out with Lucy and Ray.. and Frank... Kate and Diane and Alex, they were all with me in Lunarvale." Janet sighed. "I remember back then, I didn't really like any of them. But, they're all pretty nice. Yuki..." Janet smiled a little. "Yuki turned out to be great. I guess it'll be okay now that the WINGS are gone, I can go and hang out with my real friends. What do you think, P-chan? Think it's all going to be okay?" P-chan gave out a happy chirp and fluttered its wings again. Janet smiled at the little bird.

"Well, it's late. I think we both need some sleep." The windian stood up and headed over to P-chan's cage. She stopped a few steps infront of it and stared in wonder at the butterfly that sat there. "How..."

The butterfly flittered its wings and flew gracefully from the cage. Janet suddenly recognized it and a smile crept over her face. She placed P-chan back into its cage and then headed over to the window, opening it to let the butterfly out. As Janet watched it go, a feeling of calmness washed over her.

"Yea... it's all going to be alright."
