Kate had decided to check up on Frank after school that day. As she was walking toward The Reverse Edge, a familiar voice entered the young woren's mind.

"I wonder what's wrong with him..."

Well... Yuki said it wasn't that serious... but... he had trouble sleeping...

"Maybe it just had something to do with that fever he had..."

I dunno, Tellka...

The young woren had finally made it to The Reverse Edge. As she opened the door, the familiar sound of a bell ringing caught both her attention, and Jess's attention.

"Welcome to the Reverse Ed-" Jess stopped in mid-sentence when she saw Kate standing in the doorway. "Hello Kate! I'm just guessing... but you're here to check on my son, right?"

"Yes... um... where..." Kate said as she shuffled her feet and looked around the store's showroom.

"He's in his room with Neko-Chan... she's been keeping an eye on him all day... Kate, I'm sure he'd be thrilled to see you."

"Thanks Jess." Kate said with a smile. As she walked up the staircase to the store's living area, her tail was waving about happily. She found herself in front of Frank's room, and decided to knock lightly. Neko-Chan was the one who answered, and she looked a little better than she did that morning.

"Myah... Hi Kate!" The catgirl said as her tails waved around happily.

"Hi Neko-Chan... um... how's Frank? Yuki told me what happened... He couldn't sleep and had a fever?" Kate's tail was now waving in worry since she was concerned about her boyfriend.

"Meow... he's feeling better... It's amazing, myah, what sleep can do for a person... His fever's down a bit... Meow! He'll be able to go back to school tomorrow!" Neko-Chan explained as her ears twitched and her tails continued to wave around. "Myah... he'd be happy to see you Kate! Why don't you come in, purr..."

Kate nodded at the demoness and walked into Frank's room. Frank was sitting on his bed, holding an icepack to his head. He turned and saw Kate coming in, and immediately, a smile adorned the Persona User's face.

"Kate..." Frank said as he saw his girlfriend.

"Hey Frank! I was worried when you didn't come to school today... Yuki told me what happened... are you okay?" Kate said in concern as she placed a hand to her boyfriend's cheek. He was slightly warm, but not as warm as he was that morning.

"Yeah... I'm okay Kate..." Frank replied as he took the icepack off his head and placed it on his nightstand. "Just a little fever... that's all. I'll be back in school tomorrow. Heh... good thing you came at this moment... I was just about to start on my make-up work..."

"Well... I'm happy that you're okay... um... Frank?"

Frank looked at Kate and noticed that her tail was waving around nervously as she continuously shuffled her feet. Kate adjusted her backpack and batted her ears before continuing.

"Um... Yuki also said... you had nightmares... Frank... are you okay? What happened?" Kate said in worry.

Frank closed his eyes for a moment. I don't want to leave my problems with her... "They were just nightmares, Kate... that's all..."

"Liar!!!"

Tellka, please...

"Well... if you say so..." Kate said as she took her boyfriend into a comforting hug.

Frank returned the hug as he held back the tears that were forming. He didn't want Kate to leave at the moment, but he knew that she had to soon.

"Anyway..." Kate said as she separated from her boyfriend. "I've got to go... Tellka's waiting for me at the coliseum..."

"I understand..." Frank said as he looked at Kate. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

"All right... hope you feel better soon, Frank!" Kate gave him a quick kiss on the forehead before rushing off.

"Myah... Frank?" Neko-Chan said as she watched her sibling/guardian. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, Neko-Chan... I just... don't want to leave my problems with her... that's all..." Frank said quietly.

"Myah... I guess so... Meow... I'm glad you're okay..." The Nekomata said as she handed Frank one of his books.

"Thanks Neko-Chan..." Frank replied as he opened his English Text. The Persona User began to work on his assignments as Neko-Chan watched him curiously.
