Life at Windian High

Heh, well. =^-^= This isn't part of the story, this is just a little author's note thing. ~waves~ Hiya. =^-^=;; So, this is the first installment of Life at Windian High. Once again I just want to remind all of you people who read this that LWH is not a continues story with a plotline. =0-o= Really, it's just a bunch of short little writings that revolve around some of mine and/or Frank's characters. Maybe sometimes a little story type thing might pop up and take up a whole long chapter, or maybe the chapters will just be short little scenes like this one. ~shrugs~ There's no set limit to how large or small one of these chapters can be.

Oh, and incase anyone is wondering, all of the writing here ties in together . A Return Trip Home, Out of Darkness, these various chapters... they all fit in together :P refer to eachother, affect eachother, etc.. with the exception of the some of the chapters in Kate's Chapters. Other then that, it's all really just one story altogether divided up and written in small little portions. =^-^=

Heh, well, I'll stop talking now and let you read. =^-^=;;

"Hey, Babe! Happy birthday!" Justin had snuck up behind Janet, slipping his arms around her and planting a kiss lightly on her cheek. A sigh was the only reply he got from his girlfriend. He removed his arms from around her and walked up in front of her to get a better look at the expression on her face. She looked a little troubled. "What's up?"

"Nothing." Janet waved her hand in dismissal of the question. "You know, you're the second person outside of my family who's said that to me today?"

"Only the second?" Justin gave her a curious look. "I guess Lucy beat me to it?"

Janet nodded. "Yea well, no one else has said anything to me."

Justin simply shrugged. "Hey, people have things on their minds. I'm sure they'll say something later today though." The windian offered a smile to his girlfriend. "How about we head up to the beach or something?"

"Nah." Janet shrugged away his offered and then walked past him with a sigh. "I'm going home for a while. See you later."

Justin watched her go. "Yea... sure babe, whatever you say." He shrugged helplessly and headed off to the park in hopes to find a few more WINGS members. Chad was the first to see him approaching.

"Hey, Justin! What's up?" Jason and David glanced over at Jusin as he walked up to the small group.

"Hey guys, where's everyone else?"

David shrugged. "Haven't seen the girls yet today. Say, you look like somethings bothering you. Anything wrong?" He studied Justin curiosly. The windian only shook his head.

"Nah, Janet's acting odd, that's all."

"Ah, problems with the chick!" Chad chuckled.

"Well, I wouldn't say that..." Justin began to explain the scenario when Jason cut him off.

"Why not? She is a problem you know." Jason's comment was replied almost immediatly by a glare from Justin.

"She is not!"

"She is in my opinion." Jason shoved his hands in his pockets and turned to face Justin, a light smirk on his face.

"Well, I didn't ask for your opinion." Justin's hands fell down to his sides and he gazed back at Jason with a defensive look in his eyes.

"Yea, don't you love it when you get free things in life instead of having to ask for them?" Jason chuckled. Justin's gaze immediatly turned murderous, something that Jason finally took as his cue to shut up. Chad coughed loudly, doing his best to break the sudden tension that had formed between the two arguing windians.

"So... volleyball teams are going to be starting up soon now that it's spring. How about we head on up to the beach and practice some?" Chad glanced hopefully around the small group. Jason shrugged.

"I'm game."

Justin continued to glare at Jason for another moment before nodding. "Sure, why not..." With that, the group of four headed off.
