Journal of the Windian Trio

Chad had it all together.

Before he had gotten home, he had already stopped by all of his teachers to get their signatures for his field trip contract. When he got home, he ran the whole scene by his parents, got their 'okay' and signature, and was even making a list of things he needed to take with him for the four days. Yes, Chad had it all together, and since the field trip did happen to be tomorrow, that was a very good thing.

David had it mostly together. He managed to get most of his teacher's signatures, and he did get his parents to sign the field trip slip. The wrestler was planning on getting his first period teacher's signature before heading off with the others on the field trip, and currently he was in his room figuring out what all he needed to take.

Jason scurried got the signatures from his last three teachers in the day, then faked Troy's signature, and spent the day with Chad as the brown-winged windian continued to get his things together. David showed up not more then ten minutes later and the three continued to hang out in Chad's room, slowing the poor windian's packing down to a snail's pace. Everytime Chad packed something into his bag, David took it out and hid it in a random area of the room. While Chad was looking for what David hid, Jason would then be going through Chad's drawers and shelves, asking pointless questions about pointless things.

"So what's this?" Jason grabbed another item and held it up.

"That's a pencil..." Chad's wings flexed open and closed as he pulled his underwear from out of the heating vent. He didn't notice David stuffing a pair of socks under his bed lamp behind him.

Jason turned the writing utensil around in his hands. "A 'pencil' huh? What do you do with it?"

"You put it on the edge of your finger and twirl it with your thumb." Chad repacked his shirt and reading book before hunting down the pair of pants that vanished from his bag.

"Oh... like this?" Jason did just that with the pencil. David turned and stared at him.

"Man! How did you do that? I could never figure out how to do that!"

"Aw, c'mon David, it's just as easy as doing this." Chad then held his hands together and brought them up to his mouth, blowing into his hands and waving his fingers as a tune that sounded like a bird song sounded from the windian. The wrester just stared at him.

"Hey! How did you do that?"

"Fuck! It's not really that hard, David!" Jason chuckled as he set down the pencil and picked up an eraser that was on Chad's shelf. "Look, it's just as simple as this." He rolled the eraser down his arm until the object reached the bend of his elbow, and then straightened his arm suddenly, causing the eraser to pop into the air and he caught it easily in his hand.

"What..." David had a hopeless look on his face.

"Aw..." Chad stroked his goattee as his wings flexed open and closed. "We should stop teasing him.. you know David can't do anything special..."

"Hey..." David pouted sadly at his two friends. "I can wrestle..." Jason and Chad just exchanged glances.

"Whoopdeedo." Jason twirled a finger in the air boredly. "You can roll around on the floor with a bunch of sweaty guys, I'm proud of you."

David was about to say something, but stopped suddenly and popped his knuckles thoughtfully. "You know.. when you put it that way..."

"Alright!" Chad finally managed to get his bag packed. "Now then... have I got everything?"

"You sure you don't need an extra pair of clothes or something?" Jason pulled open a dresser drawer and glanced into it. "Dude! I remember this shirt!" He pulled out a hunter green shirt that had a picture of a white-winged windian casting an random spell on it. "You haven't worn this thing in years!"

"Oh yea, huh." Chad stroked his goattee thoughtfully.

"Man," David was now beside Jason, looking through Chad's shirt drawer. "I remember when you wore this stuff all of the time! What happened?"

"Er... I started dressing like Jason?" Chad flashed his friends a goofy grin as his wings flexed open and closed.

"Oh yea... huh..." Jason glanced up and looked at the brown-winged windian. "I remember when that happened."

"Yea, I had run up to you..." Chad moved over to stand next to Jason, holding out his arm and showing how similar his outfit was to Jason's. "And I had said 'look! Twins!'"

"And I had said you were a sad sad boy." Jason chuckled lightly as he pushed Chad's arm back down. David took one look at his outfit and then glanced at his friends, who really did have similar clothes on. The wrestler frowned.

"Aw.. but what about me? I don't match..."

"You're an individual!" Chad nodded at David. "See? You stick out from the crowd."

"Alright!" David grin widely and puffed his chest out in pride. "I stick out!"

Jason chuckled as he considered his friend for a moment, and then poked David in the gut. "I could have told you that..." David just glared over at his friends as they laughed.
