Journal of the Windian Trio

As soon as all of the students were named, Duncan lead the crowd into the reservation. The entire town looked like it was full of treeforts, all of the houses were made out of logs. Some of them were larger, looking like huge cabins. Others were smaller, but none of them were more then one story high. There were also structures that looked like houses built up on stilts. The students couldn't see them too well because they towered over everyone's heads, but it looked like there were thick vines that seemed to attatch all of the higher buildings. A few students noted that some of the structures seemed to be built higher then a few of the others. Duncan didn't bother to explain anything on the reservation as he took the crowd to its first destination.

It was a huge lodge, big enough to hold possibly all of the students in Windian High together. Long wooden benches filled the lodge, and Duncan finally motioned for the students to sit as he began to address them. "This is our meeting lodge. If any of you become seperated from the group as we're walking around, you are to come back here and wait for us to return. You are NOT to wander around on your own." His dark eyes once more scanned the crowd of students. "Meals will be served here, in fact you will all be fed before we take you out on your first tour of the reservation. After we are done dining, I will show you all to the cabins that you will be staying at for the night." Duncan continued to talk, re-explaining and stressing the rules that were to be followed while at the reservation. Although many of the students were still listening to him, David found his attention wandering away from the speaker and towards the food that was now being brought in for them. Roasted pig, bread that smelled fresh, berry jams, huge containers of some sort of juices were slowly filling up some of the benches behind the students, being brought in by the woren women who'd cooked it all. As soon as Duncan finished talking and dismissed the students to eat, David lept from his seat and rushed over to the food, followed closely by Chad and Jason. Other students quickly made their way over as well, some of them just wanting to get at the food, others of them worry what would happen if David got to all of the food first.

Dinner went by rather well, everyone complimenting how delicious the food was, even Tym who was currently chowing down on more roasted pig. Soon afterwards Duncan gathered up the students again and began to lead them around the reservation, once again stressing that none of them should be wandering the reservation alone.

David, Jason and Chad promptly got lost from the group.

"So how long do you think it'll take for them to notice we're missing?" Jason mused as the three ducked around a few cabins to avoid being seen by some of the woren natives.

"You mean if they don't notice already?" David chuckled. "I'll give it until Vagger tries to figure out why we haven't done anything yet."

"Meaning either way they already know we're missing." Chad stroaked his goatee thoughtfully. "Dude, you know that we are going to have to find them eventually... at least to figure out where we're sleeping tonight."

"Eh, we'll run across them soon enough." Jason shrugged. Chad was about to make a reply some something brown went flying through the air and slammed right into the windian's stomach, causing him to fall over backwards with a groan. David and Jason's eyes went wide as they immediatly turned to their fallen friend. "What the fuck? Dude are you okay?"

A giggling noise from behind them caught David's attention and he looked to see three woren girls, two of the with worried expressions on their faces, a third who was currently snickering. One of the apologetic girls quickly elbowed the snickering one, who cleared her throat and changed her own expression to apologetic as Jason looked over, his eyes narrowing immediatly. "Who the fuck are you three?"

"Oh, I'm sorry!" The woren standing in the middle, golden furred with dark red stripes and matching red hair took a step forward. It was obvious that her actions were being played out. Although her voice was light and apologetic, Jason could easily recognize the acting in it. After all, the Windian Trio had done that enough times themselves. The woren girl's tail tip twitched lightly as she looked at the three with wide green eyes. "Did we accidentally get your friend? Sheilah..." she looked over at the woren standing beside her, orange fur with dark orange stripes and black hair. "You should be more careful! You could hurt someone!"

Jason was in no mood for their little acting game. His eyes were burning with fire as he glared at the three. "What the FUCK are you doing? Fucking running around throwing shit at people like that?"

Sheilah's face immediatly dropped it's apologetic look, and her dark brown eyes went wide with rage at Jason's outburst. The woren's hands clenched into fists at her sides and she began to stride up to Jason. "Alright, listen you snotty little bird! If you three would stay with your stupid group like you're supposed to-"

"WHOA! Sheilah, hey!" The golden furred woren immediatly jumped into her friend's path. "Hold on a second..."

"SNOTTY LITTLE BIRD???!!! YOU GET THE FUCK OVER HERE PUSSY CAT AND CALL ME THAT AGAIN!" Jason's fist was already glowing as he instantly rushed up to meet Sheilah's challenge. David had to lunge forward and stop his friend.

"Man! Calm down!"

It was a groan from Chad, who was still lying on the ground, that got the third woren to speak up. Pale yellow fur, golden orange stripes and very strawberry blonde hair, her ears perked and a look of honest concern crossed her face as she rushed past the scene of impending fight and over to where Chad was collapsed on the ground. "Hey guys, I think he might actually be hurt..."

"Me?" Chad shot up and brushed himself off, dropping the large wooden ball that hit him and startling the woren girl who took a step back. "Naw I'm just fine."

"Man, see?" David shot a motion over his shoulder to Chad. "He's just fine, so lay off!" He walked over and patted Chad on the shoulder. Chad immediatly let out a cry and fell to the ground. Jason, Sheilah and her friend all turned to stare at Chad. It was the yellow furred woren who once again spoke up.

"Um...."

"Seriously though," Chad popped back up, brushing himself off once more. "I'm just fine...."

The woren girl tried to hide a little giggle by clearing her throat and pretend to cough. "Well then, it's a good thing you're alright er.." she looked at his name tag, " .... Josefine?

"JOSEFINE?" Sheilah blinked. "What kind of name is that?"

"No no no, JosefinA." Chad pointed to the 'a' at the end of his name tag. The golden furred woren beside Sheilah looked at the three, noting their name tags.

"So..." She pointed at Chad, "Josefina.. then you're Dave and you're Jay?"

David nodded. "But just go ahead and call me Jason for short."

"Jason?" Sheilah raised an eyebrow at David who just nodded. Jason spoke up.

"And call me David."

"Right...." The golden furred woren batted an ear and looked over at Chad. "And what about you? You got another name for short?"

Chad shook his head. "Nope, I'm just Josefina."

"Right.." the yellow furred woren next to Chad giggled. "Well I'm Kayla. That's Sheilah," the orange furred woren just grunted, and Kayla then pointed to the golden furred woren. "And that's Aminta."

Aminta took a few steps forward, convinced that Sheilah wasn't going to try and get into another fight with Jason. "So, what are you three doing away from the group, huh? Got lost?"

"Um..." David chuckled. "Sorta?"

"Well you'd better get found again real quick," Sheilah batted an ear, "because if Duncan catches you wandering like this he'll really make you pay for it."

"Noted..." Chad's wings flex open and closed. "Okay then, guys I think we should be going..."

"Right." David nodded. "See you chicks."

"Yea sure.." Aminta chuckled, "see you around, huh?" She winked at the three before she and her friends picked up the ball they'd lugged at Chad and took off. The Windian Trio exchanged slightly confused glances before they headed back to the lodge to wait for the rest of the group to find them.
