Day of the Play

"You casted me as an old hag!" Candice was shrieking as she paced around the auditorium. Almost everybody was biting their tongues to hold back from the obvious comments that could be made as Candi continued to steam around the room. Alex turned to the rest of his crew, clearing his through loudly.

"Right, let's get ready for the next scene, shall we?"

Jason grinned and turned to where Nate was standing. The Persona User noticed the grinning windian out of the corner of his eye and turned to him.

"What?" Nate was peering at Jason suspiciously. Jason just shook his head.

"Say it again!"

"Say what again?"

"That one line! Say, 'I swear it will be done.' again!"

"WHAT??"

Jason was laughing loudly now. "It was great, I had you running around carrying out my orders like it was what your life dedicated to!"

"Why you..." Nate clenched his hands into fists and gave Jason a look for fire. Alex nonchalantly stepped in between the two while staring at a script.

"Right you two," the woren's tail was flicking. "You both open up this next scene so I need you all to go and get ready for it." As the two stalked away from each other, Ellen stepped up to her boyfriend.

"Say love," she rested her head on the woren's shoulder and stared down at the script in his hand. "When's my part anyway?"

Alex's tail was waving as he turned to Ellen. "It's coming up, don't worry. I'm sorry but there's really not many female parts in this play other then the grandkid and Buttercup..." His ears flicked apologetically.

Ellen smiled as she kissed her boyfriend on the cheek. "Don't worry about it, I was just wondering. Anyway, you're doing a wonderful job."

A grin passed over Alex face. "Really?" His tail waved excitedly as he turned to the cast. "Alright people, let's get this next scene going!'
