Scene 11Alex: *heard from off stage while the lights are out* The day of the wedding arrived. The brute squad had their hands full carrying out Humperdincks orders.
The lights come on to reveal that the stage is set up as the Thieves' Forest. Chris and his men are clearing out the forest. Justin, casted as one of the men on the brute squad, approaches him.
Chris: Is everybody out?
Justin: Almost. There's a Romerian giving us some trouble.
Chris: Well, you give him some...trouble. Move!
The lights fade out and come back on to show Frank slouched in front of a house, a beer bottle in his hand. Frank is giving one of the guards a difficult time. Frank is drunk.
Frank: *loud* I am waiting for you Vizzini! You told me to go back to the beginning, so I have. This is where I am, and this is where I'll stay. I will not be moved.
Justin: *angry* Ho there!
Frank: *stumbling* I do not budge. Keep your ho there.
Justin: But the prince gave orders!
Frank jumps up and slashes at Justin with his sword. The guard is taken back.
Frank: I know you Vizzini...when the job went wrong you went back to the beginning...And this is where we got the job, so it's the beginning. And I am staying 'till Vizzini comes.
Justin: *calls out behind Frank* You! Brute, come here!
Frank: *mumbling to himself* I...am...waiting...for...Vizzini. *Just then, and hand grabs him from behind*
David: You surely are a meany.
Frank looks up, and sees that it's David.
David: *grinning* Hello.
Frank: *weak and drunken smile* It's you!
Justin jumps in to see what's going on, but David knocks him out with one punch.
David: *examing Frank* You don't look so good... *Frank sighes and makes a dismissing motion with his hand, causing David to wrinkle his nose* You don't smell so good either.
Frank: Perhaps no. I feel fine... *David lets go of Frank, who falls on his face*
The lights fade out briefly, but when they come back on the stage has changed to the scene of a house where David and Frank are inside. David is taking care of Frank while Alex narrates from off the stage.
Alex: Fezzik and Inigo were reunited, and as Fezzik nursed his inebriated friend back to health, he told Inigo of Vizzini's death and the existence of Count Rugen, the six-fingered man. Considering Inigo's life-long search, he handled the news surprisingly well. *Frank falls face first into a bowl of soup*. Fezzik took great care in reviving Inigo. *by repeatedly soaking his head in and out of hot and cold barrels of water*
Frank: *more sober* That's enough! *jerking away from David* That's enough! Where is this Rugen now, so I might kill him?
David: He's with the prince in the castle. But the castle gate is guarded by thirty men.
Frank: How many could you handle?
David: I don't think more than ten.
Frank: *counting on his fingers* ...Leaving twenty for me. At my best I could never defeat that many. I need Vizzini to plan. I have no gift for strategy.
David: But Vizzini is dead.
Frank: *inspired* No...not Vizzini. I need the man in black.
David: What?
Frank: Look, he bested you at strength, your greatness. He bested me with steel. He must have out-thought Vizzini, and a man who can do that can plan my castle onslaught any day! Let's go!
David: Where?
Frank: ...Find the man in black obviously.
David: But you don't know where he is?
Frank: Don't bother me with trifles, after twenty years at last my father's soul will be at peace. There will be blood tonight!
