Kate approached Frank, and he could tell that she had been crying.

"Poor Kate..." Frank thought to himself. "I hope she's Ok..."

Kate finally reached Frank and Philemon, but said nothing.

"You ready to go back, Kate?" Frank asked quietly.

Kate took a look back at her mom, then looked at Frank. Kate managed a slight nod.

Frank tried to smile, but couldn't. He was sad since Kate was looking upset. He turned back to Philemon.

"We're ready. Anytime." Frank got out.

"Ok. Best of luck to both of you." Philemon waved his hands, and then there was a flash of light. Kate and Frank disappeared.

"Philemon..." Kate's mom started. "Do you think..."

"Yes... They do like each other. And they might go far."

Frank shook his head, and looked around. He and Kate were back in the armory. Kate was lying in the cot, still with a sprained ankle.

"WHERE IN LADON'S NAME DID YOU BOTH GO?!" Tellka yelled in a fit of anger.

Frank motioned for her to quiet down, since he noticed Kate looking at them, still very tired.

"It's hard to explain..." Frank said quietly before folding his arms and continuing. "We were in the place between consciousness, and unconsciousness."

Tellka gave Frank a fierce gaze. "If you did anything to Kate..."

"He didn't Tellka. I'm fine. In fact..." Kate started.

Tellka looked at Kate, and then her mouth dropped open.

"Her mom?! She talked to her mom?! I don't believe it." Tellka told Frank.

"She did... and how did you know???" Frank asked.

"Kate and I sometime talk to each other through our thoughts." She explained.

"Okay... I think... Well, Kate met the man who gave me my Persona, I got the power to access my 'Ultimate Persona,' if you will I also got.." Tellka cut Frank off.

"That pendant!!! Where did..." Tellka said in shock.

"Philemon gave it to him, along with an item to unlock his 'Ultimate Persona." Kate said tiredly.

"Frank do you know..." Tellka started.

"I know. Philemon told me that it belonged to someone named Katt Chuan. It's endowed with power that will make me a bit faster and stronger in battle." he explained to Tellka.

Tellka looked at him, trying to absorb it all. Frank then walked over to Kate.

"Kate..." Frank said softly.

Kate looked up at Frank, with even more exhaustion showing in her eyes.

"Poor Kate..." Frank thought to himself. "That ordeal must have tired her out, along with the fact that she was seperated from her mom again"

"Kate... I know... How hard it is... I know you want to see your mom again..." He said gently.

Kate looked at him again, with sadness in her eyes. Frank then knelt down beside the cot to get to eye level.

"Here... It's not much. But..." Frank pulled the ring from his pocket. "I had Philemon cast a spell on this ring..." He started.

Kate looked at him, closely.

"With this... You can talk to your mother anytime you want." Frank said quietly.

Frank slipped the ring on Kate's right hand. She looked at it then looked at Frank.

"Frank... why? Why did you do this for me?" she asked with a shaky voice.

Frank looked at the ground before answering, in a very quiet voice.

"Because I care about you, Kate. I saw how much it hurt... To be seperated from your mom. It hurts me too. I don't even know if my mom is ok. Kate..."

"Frank???" she asked.

"I don't know how to say this... but I think I love you."

Kate looked at Frank, and seemed that she had a ton of emotions running through her. She then looked at Frank once again.

"Frank... I don't know what to say..." she stammered out.

Frank said nothing, but hugged her. She leaned her head onto Frank's shoulder, and started to cry.

"It's ok... Kate..." Frank said softly.

"It's... it's not that... It's just that... you care about me... You've really shown that you truly care about me... and... my feeling... Up to the point where... this ring... to talk to my mom..." she stammered out between sobs.

Tellka watched them with amusement on her face.

"It's ok. Kate..." Frank said as he patted her back softly.

It was then that the butterfly appeared again. This time, it healed both Kate and Frank.

"Kate... you've got to rest. You need some sleep."

"My ankle... It's healed... Philemon???" Kate asked. Frank just nodded back.

"Rest Kate... We're gonna have a lot to do before we can get out of this colliseum." he said quietly.

Kate nodded. She then saw a blue door that wasn't there before.

"Is that..." she asked.

"Where did that come from?" Tellka said quietly.

"The Velvet Room... Can you watch her Tellka? I've got to go there and get my new Persona." he explained.

"How are you going to do that?" Tellka asked.

Frank produced the minature Meow Staff from his pocket, and heard Tellka gasp.

"I mix this with a Justice Class Persona. I'll be back soon." Frank said as he got up, and walked to the door.

Kate nodded, and Tellka still had a look of shock on her face. Frank turned, and opened the door.

As soon as it closed, Kate and Tellka began talking amongst themselves.
