Frank emerged from the Velvet Room, looking somewhat happier, and a little more determined.

Kate sat up and looked at him curiously while Tellka just watched him step out. Tellka's mouth then dropped in shock.

Kate looked at Tellka, then at Frank. Kate looked surprised as well.

"I didn't think that you'd be that surprised to see me again!" Frank said sarcastically.

Kate kept her eyes on the staff Frank was holding. "We're glad to see you again, Frank... It's just..."

Tellka interupted Kate. "The.... the MEOW STAFF!!!! Where.... did you..." She stammered out.

Frank shrugged. "It was left behind when I created my Ultimate Persona... I thought that you could use it Tellka."

Frank tossed the Meow Staff to Tellka, who caught it in mid flight. She looked at it reluctantly, then stole a glance at Kate. Kate gave her a slight nod. Tellka then twirlled it around, then gave a couple of test strikes. It was then that Frank noticed the cut on Tellka's arm.

"You're hurt! What happened???" Frank asked with a worried tone in his voice.

Tellka stopped, and held the staff in place. Kate answered for her.

"While you were gone, something must have broken the door downstairs. They tried to get up here, but Tellka stopped them." Kate said quietly.

Frank looked at Kate, before turning back to Tellka.

"Let me heal you, Tellka. I think you could use it."

Tellka was silent. She just continued to stare at Frank.

"Tellka..." Frank continued.

"I don't need any help." She said dryly.

"I think you do. That cut doesn't look too good." Frank replied.

"Tellka..." Kate started.

Tellka looked at Kate, then gave in to Frank.

"All right. I'll let you help me, for Kate's sake." She grumbled.

Frank smiled, then raised his hand. "Persona change... WINLAN!!!!" He yelled.

Three images of Frank split from his body, and circled him. One settled on his body, with the other two images in tow.

Frank found Kate and Tellka staring at him.

"What???" Frank asked both of them.

"Nothing Frank. It's just that we're still not used to that." Kate replied quietly.

"Okay, Kate. Sorry if I scared you." Frank said softly. Kate just smiled at him.

Frank looked at Tellka, then raised his hand and yelled, "I NEED HELP!"

Wind and magical energies kicked up around Frank, blowing through out his jacket. Suddenly, a blue circle appeared under Frank, and he was enveloped in a column of soft blue light. A beam of light shot out of Frank, and enveloped into Nina Winlan, who was hovering over his body.

"Heal!!!" Nina yelled, and Tellka was bathed in White Light. The light faded, along with the column and the circle. Frank lowered his arm and looked at Tellka.

Tellka took a look at her arm. The cut was healed, but she said nothing to Frank. Frank then looked at Kate.

"So... What happened while I was gone?" Frank asked curiously.

"Something tried to get in and hurt us. Tellka stopped them, though." Kate answered.

Frank looked away. "I knew that I should have taken you two with me."

"Don't worry about it, Frank. The important thing is that we're both Ok." Kate told him quietly.

Frank and Kate caught each other's gaze for a few seconds. It was then that Kate's stomach rumbled loudly, breaking them out of their silence.

Tellka just started laughing, while Kate started blushing out of embarassment.

"I guess you're hungry, huh?" Frank asked.

"I am... actually... I don't remember the last time I ate..." Kate began to explain.

"Well... here. When my friends left me some spell cards, they left me a few other thing as well." Frank then pulled a cheeseburger and an order of fries out of the bag. He handed them, as well as a bottle of Naya to Kate, who just looked at them curiously.

"What is this?" Kate said while looking at the wrapped burger.

"It's a cheeseburger, made fresh at the Peace Diner. Those things in the box are french fries, also made fresh. Trust me. You'll like it." Frank told her. He then gave the same thing to Tellka.

"I don't need to eat." Tellka told him.

"Just try it. I'm sure you'll like it." Frank said before handing her the bottle of water.

Kate unwrapped the cheeseburger, and took a sniff. "Hey, this smells good..."

Kate slowly took a bite, and was delighted. "And it tastes even better! Tellka... go ahead and try it!" She said excitedly.

Tellka looked at Kate, then unwrapped her burger as well. She took a bite, and smilled.

"You're right, Kate... And these... what are they? They're good as well." She said after eating a fry.

Frank opened Kate's water for her, and then opened Tellka's. He then gave each of them a napkin before eating as well.

"Those are called french fries. They're made from fried potatoes." He explained after taking a bite of his burger.

The three of them ate while discussing their plans. After they finished, they put their garbage into the paper bag, and Frank turned to Kate.

"Kate... My friend Chris left a weapon that you might be able to use. Here." Frank said as he opened the box.

Tellka looked in, and her eyes went wide again.

"Those are nice... whoever crafted them did a very good job..." She said quietly.

Kate peered into the box, and then she picked up one of the claws.

"They look nice... I just hope I don't have to use them often..." She said quietly.

"I hope so too, Kate..." Frank replied.

Kate looked at him, and gasped.

"How much sleep have you had??? You look extremely tired!!!" She told him with some concern.

Frank yawned. "Just that thirty minutes earlier. I get the message. I'll rest before we leave."

Kate nodded. Frank then walked to the cot, and removed his weapons, jacket, and his shoes before lying down.

Instantly, Frank fell asleep.
