Chapter 5

Frank turned his attention to Kate, who was still on the ground in shock.

"Are you all right?" Frank asked as he helped Kate off of the ground. Kate of course ignored him, since she was still dazed from the events that had just occured.

"WHO SHOT THAT NEEDLE!?!" Frank turned his attention from Kate and noticed that Tellka was standing in front of her, looking out at the audience.

Frank was also curious about this as well. He then noticed a man in the audience jump up and take off, with some sort of a gun in his hand. In a blink of an eye Frank noticed that the man had fallen from the stands, and landed on the arena floor in a crumpled heap. He then saw Tellka leaping down after the man, and she looked pissed.

Frank then heard the audience once again.

"I can't believe this! They're betting on her!" Frank said to himself. Kate left his side and was now talking to Tellka in order to calm her down. Frank could barely hear what they were saying to each other, but he could make out that Kate did not want Tellka to hurt the servant.

"She reminds me of Alex... always wanting to make sure that people don't get hurt or their behalf." Frank looked away for a second and thought about his friends once more. He then opened his eyes and scanned the audience.

Frank looked around, and came into eye contact with Redwing.

"God, just looking at him just gives me the creeps." Frank said to himself. It was then that Redwing's eyes narrowed a little more, turning into a look of hatred.

"Damn, he knows that I was eavesdropping this morning." Frank thought it was then that Frank got taken by surprise: Redwing's eye's started to glow a bright red.

Frank's eye's widened. "I'm not seeing this..." he muttered. Frank shook his head once, and turned to look once more. Sure enough, his eyes were glowing a bright red.

"Oh damn... I don't know what the hell is going on, but I've got to talk with Kate and Tellka, and explain this whole mess to them." Frank turned just in time to see Kate running toward her waiting room. Of course, Frank decided to follow.

Right when he was about to take off, he noticed that he was a little bit in pain. The pain was coming from his side, and Frank deduced that he must have gotten bruised badly when Kate tackled him. Frank grabed his side, and ran after Kate.

A few steps from the room, Frank decided that he needed to heal himself and Kate when he entered. The Dragon Persona had no healing spells, but Judgement: Angel did.

"Persona change..." Frank said quietly as he raised his arm in pain. "Angel!" he finished up. Frank then split into three different images of himself, with the real Frank in the middle. The images circled him, and finally one settled on his body, with the other two in tow. Frank then continued to the room. He could hear arguing from inside between Kate and Tellka. Frank knocked on the door.

A few seconds passed before Kate spoke up. "Come in..." she said. Frank opened the door and entered. He was nearly hit in the face by Tellka wielding a clawed staff.

"GAH!!! Watch it! I'm the good guy!" Frank yelled. Tellka stopped short of his face, and regarded him with a look of curiosity, and then lowered her staff. Frank breathed a sigh of relief.

"I need to talk to you two about what happened out there." Frank said while clutching his side.

"You know something?" Tellka asked with a look of fire in her eyes.

"Yeah, but I'm not responsible for this. Trust me." Frank replied.

"He's not responsible..." Kate said while rubbing her head. "In fact, he knocked me out of the way when that person shot the needle." she added.

"You did a good job out there Kate. Tellka told me that this is the first time you fought here. Same thing with me. The only time I've fought in competition was in fencing tournaments back at St. Hermelin." Frank told her.

"St. Hermelin? What's that?" Tellka asked. Kate was caught off guard, because as far as she knew, Tellka knew everything.

"It's my high school, back in Lunarvale." Frank replied.

"Lunarvale?" Kate asked.

"Nevermind. I'll explain later." Frank said.

"I never got a chance to say this to you, but... thanks. And I'm sorry I didn't believe you out there when you tried to warn me." Kate said to Frank.

"That's all right. Why would you have reason to believe me, when we were opponents?" Frank said. He then winced in pain.

"How did you get hurt?" asked Tellka.

Frank turned to face her. "When Kate tackled me. I thought you told me that she never fought before."

"I did... I wasn't expecting anything like that to happen." Tellka said to Frank with a look of innocence.

Frank then turned to Kate. "Anyway, do you mind if I heal us?"

Tellka spoke up. "How do you intend to do that?"

"I have my ways. Well Kate?" Frank asked.

"I guess... If it will stop my head from hurting." Kate said.

"Okay. Just promise me that you won't get scared."

Kate thought for a few seconds. "Okay... but why will I get scared?"

Frank grinned. "You'll see..."

Frank raised one hand into the air and yelled.

"PERSONA!"

"I don't think that yelling will heal-" Tellka was cut off by what happened next.

A blue circle appeared under Frank, and he was surrounded by a column of blue light. Wind kicked up under him, blowing air through out his jacket. Suddenly, a beam of light shot out above him, and enveloped into an angel, the same one that was on the fountain in the park earlier.

"Cure All!" Judgement:Angel said. She raised her rapier, and sliced slowly. Frank and Kate were then enveloped in a white light that healed Frank's injuries, and then Kate's. The angel faded, as did the blue circle and the column of light. Frank then lowered his arm.

Needless to say, Kate was in shock, and Tellka was speechless.
