I couldn't beleive it. The same girl... The same girl who saved my life from the void... And who brought me here to Windia... Is real... And with one of my friends.
"You... you're the one..." I stammered out.
"You... you're really Frank, aren't you?" She asked quietly.
"Yeah... Frank Maynard... From St. Hermelin High School... Who..."
I still couldn't believe it. I was speechless. The same girl I told Kate about in my letter... Is here... talking to me...
She looked down for a little bit. I wonder.. did she have dreams about me too? That's when I remembered something... Something VERY important.
I took my pack off and grabbed my notebook. When I reached the section with the notes on who I needed, I skimmed them.
Yep... The Blue Winged Angel who sent me here... That's her...
Katt: That's nothing Frank. Remember... one like you... Nate... your classmate...

"One step closer... you're both people I need..." I said quietly. Both Nate and the girl heard me though.
"Hmm? What was that, Frank?" Nate said in his usual tone.
I shook my head. "I'll explain in a second, Nate."
I turned to the girl, who finally looked up and was staring at me.
"Who... who are you?" I asked quietly.
"Esor... Esor Aes... Did... did you dream about me too?" She asked me.
"Yeah... I did... you kept telling me, 'I was the one' and that you needed my help."
Esor lowered her head again. "I'm... I'm sorry, Frank..."
"Don't be, Esor. It's not your fault." I said quietly. Nate cleared his throat and got our attention.
"This is nice and all, but could you please tell me what's going on?" Nate said impatiently.
Snobbish as usual... Always like Nate.
Katt: I don't like him.
Katt... you've got to understand him... and what he's been through.
Katt: Oh? Like what?
I'll let you in on it later, Miss Chuan.
Katt: ......
I was still confused at why Esor needed me. I'd have to talk to her when I get a chance. But from the look on her face, I bet that she doesn't know either.
"Nate... Esor..." I said quietly before motioning toward a bench. Both of them looked at me oddly.
"I think you'd both better sit down. You're in for a long story."
Thankfully, both sat down and didn't ask me any questions before I started. I told them about what I've been through since I entered Windia, explained to Nate and Esor about my current "mission", and I explained to both of them about my Persona. Of course, Nate didn't know anything about the Destined, so Esor had to go into a little more detail, about the destined, and what clans were. I think I could safely say that I was a little peeved when Nate referred to Kate as a catgirl.
"So tell me again, Frank..." Nate said as he rested a hand on his chin in the usual fashion.
"Where exactly is this dungeon? And why do you need that diamond?"
"Nate... It's in Agua... The floating island above Windia. As for the diamond, If I find it, I might just be able to answer some questions..."
"Really...." Nate said quietly. "Like what sort of quetions? You never bothered to tell us about them." Nate said. I think Esor began to look at him strangely. I don't know if it was because of the magic from the ammunition in his rifle, or by the way he's acting.
"Well Nate, Esor.... If I find the diamond... I might just be able to find some answers... Like why am I here? And why does Esor need my help?" I explained quietly.
"Is there any way that this diamond my know how to get us back to Lunarvale?" Nate asked quickly. Esor looked confused, then remembered what Nate and I talked about earlier when I told them my story.
Lunarvale... Good God... Mom... Dad... I hope you're both all right...
Nina: Frank... Stop worrying so much. I'm sure that they're ok.
I... I can't help it, Nina... I have this feeling inside of me... That something happened back home...
Ryu: Calm down, Frank... This isn't like you... at all...
I'm sorry, Ryu. It's just that I've got alot on my mind... What happened at home? Why am I here? And....
Katt: Kate?
Yeah... Kate... I don't know if I want to go home now... I'm... just not sure of a lot of things.
"Frank? Hey Frank?"
I shook my head, and looked at Nate.
"Yeah man? What's up?" I answered quietly.
"You didn't answer my question." Nate said simply, before resting a hand on his chin.
Katt: Forget not liking him, I HATE him!
Katt... hush... Not now.
Katt: .... All right Frank.. I guess...
"It might, Nate... but..."
"But what?"
"When I went to Agua to look for it, I ran into someone. When I asked her about the diamond, She just said... another one... I don't know what she meant." This time, Esor spoke up.
"Frank... what she meant was that alot of people have gone after the diamond. Some have gone in, but never came out.... And the ones who did..."
"What? What happened to them, Esor? It can't be that bad, can it?" I asked curiously.
"Frank, the ones who actually came back were so mentally unstable, that they either killed themselves, or were locked away. From the tales told, they had to see their worst fear." She said before lowering her head to the ground.
Nina: Frank... This quest you're on seems to get worse by the second.
I know... but I can't let that stop me. I've come this far, and I may as well finish it.
Ryu: You are brave Frank... Another aspect of why I chose you....
"Esor... Thanks for the warning... but I need that diamond... It may answer some questions that I have unanswered."
Esor looked at me in surprise. I don't think she really expected that answer.
"Frank, do you know what you're getting yourself into? I mean-" Esor stopped when I cut her off.
"Esor... I know. I know what I'm getting into. You explained it to me. But I have no choice... I need the diamond, to figure out what's going on... back home."
Esor remained quiet, but Nate brike the silence.
"Frank... If you're searching for this thing... And it might help us in some way. Then count me in." Nate said as he loaded some metallic purple bullets into his gun.
Esor looked at Nate, then turned slowly to me.
"Frank... I want to help you too. I know... I'll see my worst fear... like you and Nate... but something... something is making me want to help you..." She said quietly.
That surprised me. But... I needed both of them To enter the dungeon. Thank you....
"Nate... Esor... Thanks..." I said quietly.
"Anytime, Frank... But..." Nate started.
With Nate, there's always, "a but"...
Katt: More like a Butt-Head...
Settle down now...
Katt: Grr.... I just don't like him....
"Where do we go? Do we get your girlfriend? Kate, I think?"
I blushed. Honestly, I did.
"Er... Not yet, Nate. Let's go to Agua... and I'll show you two the dungeon entrance."
That was it. It's started. Now to find the last member of my party, before going to get Kate...
